I am a NASM Certified Fitness Professional with a MS in Exercise and Rehabilitation Science. I have been training clients since 1997 and a certified Senior Fitness Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Finding the right equipment for my senior adult clients to remote train during the pandemic was critical and the best bench for the job proved to be the Barwing Folding bench! This very reasonably priced equipment has proven itself over the past two years with multiple clients to be reliable, durable, easy to use, and the folding feature superb for in home use.The Barwing folding weight lifting bench is a no nonsense design that looks great and performs exceptionally well for men and women. The adjustment ranges are high and easy to set and lock. The folding feature is simple and straightforward; many of my senior clients just fold it up and neatly put it away when we’re done training. There are no unnecessary “bells and whistles” to this weight bench to jack up the price and the handles on the bench back are useful for a variety of core and assisted balance exercises but can be easily removed if not needed.I owned a commercial grade bench I acquired from a gym. It was excellent but heavy and unwieldy for in home use. After recommending this bench to my remote clients and seeing just how well it performed I gave away my high priced Italian made commercial grade gym bench and finally bought a Barwing folding bench for myself and my wife! It is perfect; light but strong. Easy enough for my 5’ 107 lbs. wife to move around and position but strong enough for my 220 lbs frame with weights to comfortably, safely, and without thought or worry about its stability or support to plow through my lifts! Perfect at home bench!
As a personal trainer, I looked at benches for weeks to try and decide which one I wanted. I’m so particular and was looking for a lot of things. I finally landed on this one and decided to give it a shot. Glad I did! This bench has it all. I love that the bench both inclines and declines. And not just to certain degrees. It’s able to do all angles. I saw some reviews about the pull knobs being an issue to adjust the incline/decline, but that’s not the case. Once they are in correctly, they adjust quite easily. Pull knobs were a must in my list of “must haves” for a bench, so I am quite satisfied with that feature. The bench is sturdy and it folds up so compact. I have it in a corner of my apt and it doesn’t take up much space, which is what I needed. It basically comes fully assembled and there is only 1 pin the needs pulled out to get it to unfold. You don’t have to wrestle with it or struggle to get it up and down, it’s an easy process. For the price point, I’d definitely recommend giving this a go. You won’t be disappointed.

Great bench for an even better price.
All in all this is a great purchase so far. The bench is easy to assemble and adjusts to all kinds of angles. It is comfortable to use and seems well constructed. For the price, it is very hard to beat this product. My only complaint is that I wish the two base legs were wider. I knew the base supports weren’t wide from the product’s description on line (it was not a surprise). While the bench is sturdy over all and I haven’t even come close to tipping/rocking the bench, I have concerns with doing motions which have a lot of lateral motions. Those concerns account for probably 5% of the total number of exercises this bench could be used for so it has almost no impact on the effective use of this product. Would recommend this for anybody’s home gym (especially when on a budget).

Sturdy and Versatile Bench for Home Workouts
To my experience, this bench impresses with its gym-quality sturdiness and stability, supporting significant weight without wobbling. Its adjustable incline and decline settings make it versatile for various exercises, and the foldable design is perfect for saving space in a home gym. However, the adjustment knobs can be cumbersome, and the cushioning may feel uncomfortable during certain exercises. Enhancing the adjustment mechanism and improving the padding would make this already solid bench even better!

Los materiales son de buena calidad y el colchón es resistente y cómodo. No se mueve al estar haciendo ejercicio y recomiendo tenerlo sobre unas colchonetas. Para ajustar el ángulo del respaldo no se necesita quitar completamente el eje, basta con solo estirarlo seguido de mover el respaldo hacia donde se desea y soltar el eje, ese detalle es muy efectivo al momento de estar cambiando de rutina y no enfriarte y perdiendo más tiempo.
