Two broken legs
I broke both of my legs 5 months ago and as I’m re-learning to walk I’m having tendon pain on the outside of my foot. This balance board helps me rock on to the sides to help relieve that pain. The functionality is perfect. The board is well thought out with a little carrying bag and grip pads on it.

Got this ankle balance board to help with some balance issues and to strengthen my foot after a sprain. Right out of the box, it seemed well-made and sturdy, not too heavy either. The surface has a good grip, which helps keep my foot from slipping off during exercises.It’s simple to use, step on and try to keep your balance. No complicated setups or instructions are needed. The board also fits easily under my bed or in a closet when I’m not using it.I recently purchased an ankle balance board to help improve my balance and strengthen my foot after a sprain. Foot strength is the base for good posture and reducing knee and hip and back pain. This is a great little board to work on.

Probably not that difficult, directions just difficult to follow
Nice board.First….. I consider my self to be a smart enough person. But, I’m really struggling to feel like I’m really working any muscles when I do what I think is instructed in the directions. But I’m going to keep trying. It seems like a good enough tool.Second…. its definitely well made. Nice smooth surfaces and thick enough boards. I believe if I attached a 20 lb weight to the velcro bar that attaches to the boards and held it up, I don’t think the bar would loosen from either board. The velcro used to atta h the bars to the board is ridiculously strong. Too strong for me.Detaching the velcro bars from the board is almost impossible for me. I’m rethinking whether or not to keep this because even if I don’t need to change the bars out often, it is close to impossible for me to change the bars out and painful. I don’t know if it’s worth it. I don’t have real strong hands but I should be able to at least remove the bars from the foot pad without using a lot of strength. I’m giving it a three-star rating just because there’s a double negative here. I’m betting others can do it well, but, I think I need instructions from a person.

Poor durability for intended use
I really loved the design of this product and it is a great tool in my ankle recovery journey. After less than a week of standard use, the connector rope broke through the particle board on the top deck. I can no longer use it without being stabbed in the foot with splinters. The quality of this product is not durable enough for its intended purpose. I am returning and purchasing a higher quality version.

Best footboard to build ankle strength
This is a relatively simple product but the results are excellent. Everyone in the family is using it. We already feel results in flexibility and strength in our ankles. Highly recommend.

While the product itself looks fine, one of the narrow beams is completely missing the velcro to attach it to the base. I’ll purchase an adhesive velcro strip myself. But, it would have been nice to not have that hassle. There is a pamphlet/ user guide included and a website for more information.
