This product has helped improve my thyroid problem
After experiencing problems with a persistent cough, difficulty breathing, feeling like there was a lump in my throat and feeling tired a lot, I was diagnosed with a goiter, which is an enlargement of the thyroid, plus I was found to have several thyroid nodules. Fortunately, after further testing, the nodules came back benign. The Ear, Nose and Throat doctor (and a couple of friends) kept suggesting that I may want to consider thyroid removal. But I had already begun research on my thyroid problems and had found out that thyroid removal was the last thing I should be considering. The doctor then suggested that I should take some thyroid medicines which I researched and found that that those medicines had several really bad side effects. So no, I didn’t want to take what was prescribed, at least not yet. I asked the doctor about supplementing with iodine and he said that Americans have sufficient sources of iodine so thyroid issues are usually NOT caused by iodine deficiency. But my tests and my research were saying otherwise! I also asked the doctor about using essential oils to combat the thyroid enlargement and again he turned thumbs down and said I could use essential oils if I wanted to, but he didn’t think they would help. About a month into taking numerous tests and doctor visits I began rubbing my throat with an essential oil blend of Clove, Copaiba, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemongrass, Myrrh, Frankincense and Rosemary twice a day and decided to order iodine. When using the EO blend I used scarves to warm my thyroid area and drive the oils in faster. After about a week the bad breathing bouts I was having began to subside, so that was good news. The iodine product I decided to order was the nascent based, Active Iodine/IO-Absorb combo product so I didn’t have to mess with the other supplements individually that are needed when taking iodine. After taking the iodine and using the essential oils for about 2 weeks I saw a marked difference in how I was feeling. When I returned to the doctor he noticed when he examined my throat that the enlargement of my thyroid had subsided quite a bit. I told him that I had decided to wait on using the prescription, and had decided to use the EO and iodine protocol instead. I have continued to take the Active Iodine daily but I take half of the recommended dosage of both the Active Iodine and IO Absorb. I tried putting the drops directly in my mouth but didn’t like it, so I have been taking it by placing the drops in water or juice. So far so good. I am due to go back to the doctor for a followup, with additional tests, in 6 months. I can’t wait to see if the EO and Iodine has wiped out the goiter and got rid of the nodules. I highly recommend this product because it has worked for me in improving my thyroid problem.

    Good product
I like the iodine but the absorb does not agree with me and frankly I did not order. But the iodine is very good.

    Pretty good
Whenever I took the 6 drops of iodine and 2 of the absorb, my energy would be steady throughout the day. I had no ups or downs in my energy level end it was amazing to feel consistent throughout the day. The flavor of the iodine was not too bad but the absorb tasted God awful the way any liquid vitamin pill would taste if it busted before you could swallow. I end up taking it with my coffee in the morning by having a mouth full of coffee and dispensing the drops directly in my mouth to swallow with it to cover up the taste. I did miss a few days and noticed that all my energy went crashing down to nonexistent and wanted to do nothing but sleep and it was impossible to pull myself out of bed in any kind of timely manner. I would recommend doing a build up and wean off if you plan on stopping this so that you do not crash at the end or become too jittery in the beginning of taking these drops.

    Pure iodine
I have only been taking this for two weeks. I really don’t know if it is helping my hypothyroidism. A blood test will tell me. I do not like taking medicine as it causes so many side effects so I thought I would see if the natural iodine would help. The only thing about the two products is the lids that they have on them. The iodine itself I finally got to work properly, seems the rubber was not up far enough to close it tight. The Iabsorb lid still does not work right, have to fight with it each day to get it to come off so I can squeeze the drops. I am hoping that after my bloodwork this has helped and I will continue to take this product.

    Iodine for UnderActive Thyroid
This was recommended for my Thyroid imbalance… NOT to be used for over active Thyroid… Although I have not gone back to the doctor for my levels yet I have only started this a month ago and I do feel like its working… I feel more energized and like myself almost (overall I am healthy with no other underlying issues except age… ha ha). While there are no cures or true supplements for the Thyroid with a lot of research I found 5 important things needed for the thyroid. Iodine (purple), selenum 20mg (no more than), Magnesium, iron and zinc. Iodine is actually the most important I found and it is difficult to find the others together in the right amounts which I actually did at a local health store! So I’ve added this to the other and I am doing much better now… I can even skip a day if I forget but I do try not to forget… cause I really do feel better overall… Thank you

    Not necessary
I had noticed I was becoming extremely lethargic. Only wanting to eat and sleep. My condition was ignored at my yearly checkups. Docs kept saying eat right and exercise. Which is not easy to do when you are sleepy all the time. I started taking vitamins with higher doses of minerals such as magnesium, potassium, iron, etc. And these drops at half the dose. I have perked up considerably. I have more energy and feel like I can focus better. I couldn’t say it was these drops. I think taking a multivitamin designed more for my age helped. I wanted the iodine to help with absorption of the vitamins.
