Jolly rancher taste!
I really like this protein shake, it is definitely one of the best clear whey I’ve ever tried. It is refreshing, tastes great, and it has a very light texture (some other clear whey I’ve tried has almost a thick texture if that makes sense). It’s not chalky at all, just tastes like a sweet juice. It tastes exactly like a jolly rancher to me – although I have never actually had a sour watermelon mike and Ike so might be exactly the same flavor – either way I really like it, it’s just like drinking some juice! It’s sweeter than I prefer but that’s normal – it’s almost impossible with protein drinks to get something not overly sweet at least in my experience. I just try to water them down so they aren’t so overly concentrated and I do the same with this – it’s very easy to drink in my opinion. The mixing is pretty easy too, it blends well and the foam dissipates almost completely after a minute or so. The only thing I don’t like about it is the powder is very light (almost like corn starch) and I can’t seem to make the drink without some poofing out on the counter – but that is just being picky. Overall I am really happy with this and I will definitely buy again and prob check out some other flavors.

Ok but will not repurchase
I don’t have any issues getting the powder blended and like the flavor. My one complaint is the whey aftertaste which is almost a sour flavor.

Plastic aftertaste
Dissolves ok, after letting it sit for a while it’s better. At first the taste is good, but then has an almost “plastic” after taste….YUCK will not purchase this again

Best tasting clear protein!
Omg!!!! I hardly ever leave reviews but…. i had too! I have tried many different clear proteins, and this is by far the best tasting one!!!! Sour watermelon is exactly that sour watermelon! Love love love it!!!

Let is dissolve!
lol, I already drank most of it, but here’s a photo of what I have left🤣 It’s really good! And I love the sour watermelon! It literally tastes like a jolly rancher!It’s really clumpy when I first mix it, but after a little bit of time it dissolves! I just make it before I go to the gym or go on a run and then by the time I get back and ready for some protein all the clumps are dissolved and it’s just like drinking juice!

Better than expected
I love it! So much easier to get down than traditional whey which helps me reach my protein goals. It can be a little too sweet and sour but then I’ll just add a bit more water and thats fine for me. There is just a little bit of powder that remains at the top but not enough to remove a star. Tip: use a blender bottle and shake instead of a spoon a stirring.

Check ingredients
This protein powder has some extra ingredients in it that are not present in cleaner proteins. This hurts my stomach for long periods of time, I can’t help but think these extra ingredients are the cause as other brands do not cause the same discomfort. It’s got a good taste but doesn’t make up for the discomfort.
