Not just for your eyes
I use the bilberry for more than my eyes. But since that is what they tout, I will say they have not helped my night vision but they have helped my over-all eye health. My eyes aren’t as tired. I actually went down a magnification and a half after about four months of being on these supliments.Now the real reason I take bilberry is to help with my waltz with insulin resistance. They are also full of antioxidant, vitamin C and phenolic acids and are an especially good source of anthocyanins, the powerful flavonoid antioxidant. So I use this a supplement to help manage my health on various levels and for various reasons. I would like to see the price come down so minus one star for only that reason.

Let me start off by saying this stuff is beyond amazing! I am 36 years old and a first time full-time college student. I’m not quite sure about the helpfulness of night vision with the supplement, but in terms of focus and memory, I hope to never be without it.I have been taking this for almost a month now. I take two capsules at night before I go to sleep. And during the day when I am having to stay focused and study and retain material, my brain feels awakened so alert, and I am staying on task. This is something I have never been able to do as a teenager or in my 20s in terms of learning. I have an overactive mind, and I have never been able to retain reading material without reading it several times over.Yesterday, I woke up went about my day after taking my supplements the night before. Middle of the day I come to realize that when I had spilled my supplements the night before, two of my pills have not been taken… They were both of my bilberry pills. Yesterday was not a good day for focus for me. And I had gotten plenty of sleep. My brain felt blurry, I couldNot stay on task and even though I got some things done, I didn’t get near as much done as I did days prior. Mid day I realized one of my bilberry pills was on the floor where I had spilled it so I took it. When I went to bed that evening I found the other one and instantly knew that my day was off because I hadn’t taken any bilberry the night before.Come to the next day after taking both pills the night before, and I’m back to my sharp mind clear focus. The best way that I can describe this supplement, for me, is my brain feels brand new alive awake. I can’t imagine studying and learning and doing what I’m doing now in school, without this supplement I never want to be without it.

After researching how to improve my cholesterol levels, I found an article that discussed the importance of eating foods with anthocyanins, like blueberries. The benefits of anthocyanins help improve cholesterol levels/blood sugar, help fight oxidative stress, and help prevent high blood pressure.
