    Marcy Foldable Bike NS-652
This is a great bike for me. It was easy to assemble, all loose parts are blister packed, none get lost, the instructions were clear. The bike looks great, we got the white version which my wife liked enough to let me keep the bike out in view when not in use, but I appreciate the compact footprint that is still a stable ride.y.I am getting physical therapy that begins with 10 minutes on an exercise bike. I matched the resistance setting on their bike with this one, it falls between 5 and 6 on the NS-262. It is incredibly quiet, stable, and comfortable, The seat is very comfortable. Wide and made of a firm but flexible rubber, i am never aware of the seat, it is that comfortable. And this is the least priced of the offerings from Marcy based in Pomona California. I’, 215 lbs at 5’11 and find the bike the right size but my wife enjoys it as well. This was a good purchase.

Does the job for a petite (4’11”), fit, experienced road cyclist and mountain biker
Does the job for a petite (4’11”), fit, experienced road cyclist and mountain bikerI have had this bike for 1.5 years now and am still happily using it.My criteria:I wanted to find an easy-to-assemble, light, portable stationary bike to supplement outdoor cycling and mountain biking. I have access to a Peloton at work but wanted something for the home. This bike took me about 20 minutes to assemble on my own and was easy for me to lift and carry up the stairs as a fit, petite woman in my 40s.My top three concerns with this bike were:1. Size/Fit: Will it be too big for my 4’11 height?2. Difficulty: Will the resistance be high enough to be a worthwhile ride?3. Stability: Will the bike feel sturdy? Can I stand and sit and mimic outdoor riding?Reviews were inconsistent regarding the height issue so here’s a review from the perspective of someone that owns several different types of bikes, has been road cycling and mountain biking for 20+ years, bikes weekly, and has logged hundreds of hours on road, mountain, and stationary bikes, in rides up to 100 road miles in a day.1. Size/FitThis works just fine for 4’11.” Plus, I have short legs so I would even say 4″10′. I suspect for people that are complaining it is too big, there are two reasons:a) Your knee should have just a slight bend in it when fully extended during the long part of the pedal stroke. Many newbies don’t realize this and try to ride with the seat too low.b) If I sit on the front edge of the seat, it more closely mimics riding on a road bike, and that is where the height works for me. If I were to sit all the way back in the seat, “as designed” then yes, the bike is too big for me and I would not be able to properly reach the pedals. However, I wouldn’t ride like that anyway because this is a very wide, bench-like seat, and too recumbent/not like a road or mountain bike if sitting all the way back. That said, if you are a petite man or woman in your 70s/less fit/more frail you may want to sit further back on the almost bench-like seat, and then yes, the bike would be too big for you.2. Difficulty/ResistanceIt’s not going to feel like you’re powering up a steep hill but when set to level 6-8, the resistance is good enough that you will be able to get your heart rate up and get a good ride out of it, even if you’re in great shape. Again, I mountain bike, road bike, and do Peloton rides that get my heart rate up in the 85% range as a fit woman (according to my doctor, my fitness instructors, and my Fitbit) in my 40s. There is enough resistance here. I wish I could crank it up to a 10 or 11, and that would more closely mimic the resistance that I use on a Peloton but it’s not bad for such an inexpensive bike. For those that use Peloton Power Zone rides, I converted the difficulty level for each setting on this bike to the approximate zone on the Peloton, and always use this bike with the Peloton app. It’s not as fun as riding on my real Peloton in the office gym but it’s surprisingly satisfying.3. SturdyI put this on a cycling pad on my carpet and had no problems with a sturdy ride. I can stand and sit just fine during a ride, although I am still a little more cautious about doing it on this bike whereas I don’t think twice about sitting and standing on a Peloton. I do check and tighten screws occasionally, with the assumption that an inexpensive bike has to be maintained more carefully. So far, no problems!

Good bike — once faulty part was replaced
When I first purchased this bike, there was an issue with the main frame that caused there to only be a single level of resistance. I contacted the manufacturer, who very quickly sent a replacement part. Now that I’m on my second iteration of this bike, I quite like it. It’s incredibly quiet and functions exactly as I need it to. I’m not looking to do any heavy-duty, spin class type biking on this — I’m rehabbing an injury and starting out light and slow. I feel good that as my injury heals I’ll be able to enjoy the heavier resistance of this bike. For an inexpensive, foldable and not terrible looking little bike, it fits the bill perfectly. For those who it helps, I’m 5’4, and I adjust the seat to the second lowest setting. This would have been a 5 star bike if I didn’t have to assemble this bike, find out it was broken, then disassemble and reassemble with the replacement part. Assembly isn’t terribly difficult, but it’s still a pain to do all the extra work. Looking through reviews, it doesn’t look like my experience was a one-off.

My husband and i bought this bike for continued fitness training in the home while gyms, pools etc were closed. We are well into the senior category, but do keep fit as best we can on a regular basis.this bike is perfect for us. We have the seat at the highest level so that our legs can stretch out when pedal at the bottom. i am 5ft.5inch; husband is 5 ft 10-11.getting on the bike seat might be a bit difficult for some as the mount is quite high, and getting ones leg over the cross bar might be difficult for some, but this should not dissuade anyone from purchasing and using this bike.perhaps a stool nearby would help some to get onto the seat.the bike is very stable, we were able to put it together easily with the instructions in about 30-45 minutes.it has very minimal readings, , distance, timing, etc. No pulse reading, but we do have fitbits if we need to know the pulse readings.if you are trying to rehabilitate knees, hips, back etc, this will be a good asset to your home, with minimal floor space.we get a good workout for conditioning and cardio and can keep our legs, knees and hips gaining strength each day instead of losing strength.i recommend this bike . it is very well made , size is easy to fit into small spaces. very quiet

I ordered this because space is at a premium in my apartment. This takes up very little room even when opened up. Very easy to put together (easily done by one person despite the warnings about using two people) with clear instructions, and all tools provided. Well-packed and it arrived very fast!I bought this because the reviews said it was very quiet (neighbours!). It is whisper quiet – so much so that I can hardly hear it. The tension at the top is just enough for me (senior woman) and the height adjustment is great. I’m 5′ 1″ with short legs, and this fits perfectly for cycling – I have it at the lowest seat setting. It is hard to climb over the centre to mount – (short people problems) but once I’m settled it’s just fine. Very stable as well. You *can* spin, but it would be difficult – it’s really not designed for that. My legs do stretch out fully when cycling, so someone with a shorter inseam (I’m 28″) may have a problem cycling. The seat is ok – but then all bicycle seats are ok. It’s not replaceable. All in all, I’m very pleased with this purchase. The quality is good, nicely machined parts, no difficult or stripped threads or screws, and it looks nice.Edited to add: I’ve been using this bike for a while now, and love it more than when I first got it. So comfortable, and gives me a pretty good cardio workout, and the seat is quite comfortable now I’m used to it. Great bike!

Great value for indoor fitness. Easy to assemble and to store due to it folding up.
