    Tastes good
My toddler actually asks for this vitamin. It takes good and the fact that it needs to be refrigerated makes me feel that it’s made of real ingredients. Excellent value for money!

Amazon sent defective product but Wellements made it right!
New review: as the title says, I got a defective product but the company reached out, got my info, and sent a replacement which turned out to be perfectly normal! I commend them on their customer service and willingness to go above and beyond. Kudos Wellements!!Old review: I ordered this for my son, opened the box, and saw it had exploded or leaked. Opened the little bottle and it made a pop and a hiss sound when I opened the lid. It looks like clumpy ketchup or barbecue sauce and smelled really weird. Went to returns and “it’s not eligible”. So I basically spent money on a faulty product and can’t do anything about it except let others know this might happen to you too.

    Outstanding and rare find…
We are quite pleased with this product in many ways. First, it is hard to find a supplement to feeding that is safe/indicated for children under the age of 12 months. Secondly, it is hard to find a quality supplement that is free of common additives and preservatives. This actually helped our little 6 month old overcome lingering congestion and fatigue associated with the common cold. As a doc and professor, I actually am a big fan of supplements but again only when clinically indicated. Mom can take all the supplements she wants but there is a limited barrier amount that can truly cross into the produced milk. The amount of vitamins listed on the back of supplements pertains to “RDA” which is essentially bare minimum to avoid deficiency, not optimal “wellness” amounts. Most people (without specific contraindications) very well require more than these listed amounts esp during times of external insults such as frequent exposure to germs/bugs in a daycare or home visitor setting as well as times of illness like fighting a cold or other type of viral load. We really appreciate the incorporation of vitamin D in here as this is quite essential for first line immunity.Go to your pediatrician, get your baby checked to rule out an illness requiring a script such as longer term congestion settling in the chest leading to pneumonia (just an example) and if they say something along the lines of “he/she is good!!” try to support natural immunity through providing the developing immune system with the building blocks of cells which in this case will remain vitamins for enzymatic production.Again, we are pleased with the evident results of adding this product to my wife’s breast milk. Always remember fat soluble vs. water soluble vitamins and their accumulation in their body. A few friends of our were giving vitamin D drops (fat soluble which can build up and lead to toxicity in excess) on top of this, which we recommended they chose one or the other but since this contains such on top of other synergistic ingredients aimed towards supporting immunity, there is no need for extra D. Again, compare labels for any and all other supplements you’re giving and look for the total amount of fat solubles (vitamin A/D/E/K) and do the math. We feel safe, according to our though process and nutritional evidence, supplementing our 6 month old with approx 150-200% of Vit D RDA daily for short term use (less than 3 months) then around 100% or so for long term, consistent use.Be well and remember to take your own vitamins during times of stress when your child is a little under the weather.

Should be labeled for 6 months +
Not good for babies under 6months. I have to my 2 and a half month old and he immediately projectile vomited this and kept vomiting. It was bright orange. He also hated the taste I could tell from his facial expressions. I don’t think it’s safe for 2 month olds as advertised. I will try again when he’s 6 months or might just try a different brand all together. I use this brands probiotic and vitamin D for newborn+ and have no problems but this one was just not it. I only gave him a small drop of the multivitamin and he clearly didn’t like the taste so I waited a bit and gave him 0.1 ml and then he projectile vomited. ALSO this stuff stained everything it touched. Since he projectile vomited, it got every where and didn’t come out after 4 washes. The burp cloth is pictured fresh out of its 4th wash still with bright orange stain from this multivitamin. I don’t recommend. Try a different brand if you’re specifically looking for a multivitamin that’s safe for your little one.

My baby loves it, but wondering about the company’s quality control
This is my second bottle of Wellements Organic Multivitamin drops. I guess me purchasing the second bottle means I like the product. My baby start taking the vitamin since she was 9-9.5 months old. My very finicky baby doesn’t mind the flavor, so I’m giving 5 stars on Flavor. In fact, she actually opens and closes her mouth when I administer the drops with a syringe. This has NEVER happened with any medicine or anything edible. I tasted it and it just tastes like sweet artificial cherry flavor. I call it “liquid candy”. My baby has never coughed while taking the vitamin, so I take that as the thickness to be on point. If it drips to the side, it will stain clothing so precision and accuracy would be the key.Honestly, if you asked me if it helps my baby with taking in extra vitamin and whatever the bottle is advertise to contain and provide, I wouldn’t be able to tell you. My baby used to be an extremely picky eater (which is the reason why I decided to give her multivitamin) and her pediatrician recommended this product. Aside from that she was just an average baby. She still is a normal, happy, average baby. I won’t be able to ask her if she feels less tired, more energetic, etc.One thing that held my back from giving this 5 stars is because the thickness and concentration between the two bottles I purchased seem to differ. The first one was thick but still a bit thinner than the current bottle. I say that because it is harder to clean the syringe with this current bottle’s drops. I clean them both the same fashion and this bottle’s liquid stays on the syringe and almost stains it. I don’t know which is supposed to be the right consistency. I’m debating whether I should order the third bottle to see the consistency or not. Also, going by the size the bottle should last me 30 days, but I don’t think it really does either. Aside from that I’m happy with the product.
