    I think it’s a very nice product!
If your looking for a good recumbent bike then this one’s for you! The price is right & the set up is really easy it’s messy because it’s packed in styrofoam and plastic bags and cardboard. But it’s a very solid construction if you ask me ! I’ve had to tighten it back down a few times but that’s expected with a new bike just as it would be for an exercise bike! If your using it then it’s gonna put wear and tear on it. So preventive maintenance is how you keep anything in good working order ! I had it set up in about one hr and plugging in the neck and installing it was the hardest part because u have to shove the excess cord in before the tube goes down! But all in all I love it it has a cup holder & another storage slot plus a small shelf and a large shelf at the top for a tablet ! It has a plug in for your MP3 players or tablets so yes I absolutely love it and I’m trying to put 5 miles a day on it ! I miss some days but working in my garden makes up for the days I’ll miss or riding my mountain bike helps on days I miss also! Neways I hope this helps you make a decision on this wonderful recumbent bike oh and it has so many workouts on it also you’ll love it to because u can pause it and it will shut down automatically! Plus when it does you just turn it back on and start and it remembers your workout so you can start where you left off or reset it and start over plus it has cool down mode! You can also monitor your pulse & heart rate! Sincerely, a happy customer!

    Great Exercycle
This cycle came sooner than expected and was easy to assemble. It took me about two hours to put it together but to be honest, I took some time away from the project. Overall, it is quite easy to put together. There are a couple of times it helped to have an extra pair of hands – mainly dealing with the mast and connecting wires but otherwise, one person can do the assembly. Once together, everything worked as expected. There are no specific instructions on using the exercise computer but it didn’t take long to figure out. I love the ease of the up and down arrows, the seat is comfortable. I find the back very supportive and the seat is comfy enough for my 1 hour plus exercise time. The only issue I have with the machine is the tablet holder. It is angled, and I would rather have the tablet upright for my viewing pleasure. Right now, I prop the back of my tablet up to make it more upright. Overall, I find the machine to be sturdy, high quality, comfortable, and with enough resistance for my exercise needs. Plus its size fits in my office perfectly. I do wish it had a cumulative mileage feature. ButI would recommend this machine to anyone looking for a quality home exercise machine.

    Great recumbent exercise bike
It took me about two hours to put it together by myself. But I took my time, had dinner, checked out some football scores. My bike went together easily and everything fit the way it should. Only downside was a lack of instruction as to what to do with the long wires that needed to be push down into the post when attaching the handlebar. I didn’t want to take a chance of the wires being damaged. I taped them up and then carefully stuffed the wires. It is extremely quiet and solid! It does not rock at all.My wife and I have been using it for the past five weeks. I am a newbie so I have been taking it slow. The seat isn’t that comfortable so I put a couch cushion on it.My wife was using a Gold Gym model for years, but it broke. She uses the bike about three times a week and pedals around 10 miles during one hour sessions. She really likes it, especially with the couch cushion on it. The beginner programs are actually quite good and the tension works great. Some reviews mention problems down the line, so we will see how this holds up.But at this time we recommend it.

Marcy cares about their customers A+ service
I found it very easy to assemble except for the pedals which when applied in perfect form cross threaded anyway. I was at a loss as to why, but it unfortunately rendered the device unusable. I figured I’d call Marcy and plead with them to purchase new pedals and new crank arms, the crank arm was unfortunately not a replaceable item and the other was on backorder.Marcy’s solution to this matter? I open my garage and I see a whole new bike. I have a love/hate solution to this decision because on the one hand I love that they did this, but on the other hand I feel that this is an absorbinate cost that they had to eat for what could have amounted to 30 bucks in parts. The least I can do is give them a review they deserve for not leaving a customer high and dry considering the circumstances. Many companies would have done this without blinking. The bike itself is comfortable, smooth and has no wobble unlike many other brands. The electronics appear to work great too. The ONLY thing I’d prefer is a not-picky thing: the space between then back of the seat and the back of the backrest is wider of a gap than I prefer and makes you feel slightly more reclined than what’s optimal. But if you don’t have pinges of OCD like me, you probably won’t even notice.Great experience so far! Thanks Marcy

    Extremely satisfied customer
Shipping was fast and efficient, assembly was a breeze. I am extremely pleased with the quality and functionality of this recumbent bike. It’s everything the other positive reviews mentioned, and more. I’m 66 years old and in my younger years was a novice body builder who was used to using quality workout equipment. This bike definitively qualifies as such. It’s programmed workouts are progressive and allow for gradual increases of intensity. The comfortable seat provides the ability to endure each training session without pain and discomfort from sitting long periods. The pedaling resistance levels are consistently smooth and not cumbersome at all. The pulse grips have so far been accurate in reading heart rate. The screen provides everything an athlete needs to monitor before, during, and after a workout. All in all, I couldn’t be more pleased with this purchase. If you’re looking for a high quality, well equipped recumbent exercise bike, I highly recommend the Circuit Fitness AMZ-587R model.

UPDATE AND ANSWERI was halfway answering a question when i hit the WRONG BUTTON. This machine has a half inch crank, so in the absence of 1/2in pedal extenders I have found it necessary to purchase 3 componants, 2 of which come from china and can be found thru Amazon with effort.1) A converter plug from 1/2in to 9/16 for the crank.2) a 9/16 spacer or 2 if needed to push the feet away from the pedal shaft. I would suggest that if you add a 40mm spacer to one side then you need to do the same to the other to balance wear on the crank.3) a pair of 9/16 training bike pedals. Its a faff because this is a US bike and it will take about 3 weeks to convert, with the biggest issue being sourcing the crank adapter which costs about £25. It takes 2-3 ish weeks to come but you can get it quicker if you pay and extra £295 airmail postage…i joke not. The pedals cost me about £18 and the pair of spacers cost between £6 and £25 depending on quality. Availability is easy for these and pedals via amazon.I’m still waiting for the converter from china. Is it worth all the hassle? I think so. My wife who has normal limbs has given the bike a test run and it gets the thumbs up. It is not designed as a preparatory step for the tour de france, it is aimed initially at weaklings like me who have turned unfitness into a whole new sport. I stand by the rest of the review below and would buy it again without hesitation other than i dont need 2.ORIGINAL REVIEW I could post a photo of myself writhing in agony on the floor; having spent an hour getting the bike carcass out of the box and a further 6 hours assembling it. A simple matter for most but the final straw for me was trying to emulate the young fit model in the ad by trying to pull it up and move it. Well they advertise it for arthritics but you have to be Charles Atlas on steroids to move it, or even just a bit fit.Being a 70yr old novice i researched ‘bikes for clapped out seniors’ before landing (metaphorically) on this particular make and model. Now one of my woes is that I have a left foot which makes its own way in life;usually at right angles to the rest of me. The implications of this are that were i even able to get my foot on the pedal i would smash my ankle on the frame. So I need spacers. But this bike, like most exercise bike, has a half inch crank thread and hey only seem to sell 9/16 threaded spacers. Solution; a 1/2in to 9/16 adapter, 2 x 9/16in 20mm spacers and 2 new 9/16 pedals. The moral is that if you have wonky feet get a bike with the bigger crankset, which is cheaper to adapt, or spend £50 on parts. In any event when the extension/adaption bits eventually come from China i will in eend up looking like John Wayne on a pregnant Harley Davidson. My wife, who won’t mind me saying that she has 2 normal legs, has been playing test pilot whiile i observe with a mixture of envy and muted voyeuristic pleasure. In a nutshell this is an excellent bike. The seating is more easily adjusted while you are off the bike and it is comfortable enough for the odd little fantasy trip across Belgium with Dominique (the singing Belgian nun) in the headphones. The pedalling position looks easy AND you don’t have to be Michael Johnson to use it. It has a very easy progression though the various ability levels starting with ‘currently on life support” through to ‘I AM Bradley Wiggins’.The plastic data screen is a bit plasticy and, I like many users, have been unable to set up the height and weight ‘personalisation’…..I just get the ‘Eeee only one person on at a time’ message. This is a sturdy piece of kit. Yes I am aware that a 6 stone septagenarian claims to have assembled it in an hour but please ensure you either have help or wear the correct athletic protection during assembly.Once all the converters, spacers and pedals have arrived I will provide an update on how well this bike works for an 18 stone wreck who hasnt seen his own feet since 2007.My loving supportive daughter wondered why i was out of touch for 2 days, suggesting i might have impaled myself. On a recumbent bike?

Not a ‘professional’ bike, but sturdy. The steel components are a heavy gauge. The parts fit together accurately and slickly. For an amateur, assembly is a morning’s careful procedure: there are many parts to fit together, and the base unit weighs nearly 100 lbs, so the first step or two of assembly is a two-person exercise. It comes with clearly-identified and packaged parts, and detailed step-by-step assembly instructions, though the illustrations might be a little clearer and more detailed. Once together it works smoothly and quietly, and is comfortable (certainly more comfortable than the upright it replaced). We are still getting used to its various programmes, but they seem useful so far. The instructions for the actual use of the bike could be a lot clearer and more detailed, however.Delivery by UPS was on time, on a van driven by a small, single, delivery person, with no appropriate lifting tackle; frankly unsatisfactory, especially given that the huge and very heavy box it comes in is clearly marked for a two-person lift. Pre-delivery communication from UPS was inconsistent and less than helpful.
