I have very low vitamin D levels and osteoporosis. Dr. told me to start taking vitamin D and I choice this one because I am a vegetarian. Amazon needs to do a better job in the warehouse..
I am editing my previous review because I am so disappointed with Amazon and their picking QC. This is an excellent product, I have been taking it for years and this is my 2nd time ordering this 3 pack, sold by OxKom and fulfilled by Amazon. My 2nd order arrived 5/14/24, that’s 270 tablets, with an expire date of 8/28/24. Who is to blame here? This is not a returnable item, so the robo-return procedure doesn’t work here. It’s not easy to find your way to a phone call with Amazon CS, but persistence (and time) pay off. Thank you, thank you Gustavo in customer service- he got me a refund on this purchase. I only knocked off 1 star because this is such a quality product. My original review from earlier this year is below..Good product, reasonable price. Being vegetarian I always look to Deva first if I need to add any vitamins/minerals to my daily intake. At one time my dexa scan was not the best and I started taking this D2 twice daily. With a multi vite (also Deva) and natural sources I get at least, or over, 5000 IU daily. My dexa scans are good now. I don’t always get my Deva from Amazon but this last time I did, as my normal supplier’s been out. I paid a tiny bit more but I got my Deva D2 🙂

So many people are unaware that most Vit D has 3 added to it and that can have a terrible effect with prescription drugs. I must have Vit D2 and was glad to find it at Amazon.

Great to boost D3 and shift calcium from blood to the bones
My husband and I have been told by our cardiologist to take vitamin D3 5000 in daily to increase this vital vitamin. After 3 years our numbers barely moved and the calcium kept building more in our blood without taking calcium. After much research I found several articles that said vitamin D2 was vital to shift calcium from the blood into the bones to prevent osteoporosis or osteopenia and to boost vitamin D3. We both had our blood work done this moth and finally the calcium is leaving the blood and the D3 levels are rising. We will continue to take both vitamin D3 & D2. No reasons not to that have shown other wise. With sanctions and regulations now being lifted on drug companies we are turning to wholistic means until we find a change from manufacturers that have chosen to abandon the regulations on manufacturing vitamins and supplements.
