How did we get our start?
We started in 2020, when our founder, Prateek, was found to have high cholesterol. As a vegetarian (and Earth-lover), he couldn’t find anything that was vegetarian, carrageenan-free, easy to swallow, or SUSTAINABLE. So he made his own, and Calgee was born.
What problem are we solving?
We LOVE the environment and believe that what we do in our daily lives can have a direct impact on the planet. Our products are made using non-toxic methods & packaged in carbon-neutral or plant material pouches.

I have been taking it daily for two years. Always high quality.
I have been using this brand of Omega-3 three daily for the last two years. Once opened I keep the packets in the refrigerator. I have never received a bad package or one that smelled fishy. I’m allergic to fish so I am very sensitive to the odors of fish and these don’t seem to have odor like others I have purchased. I’m confident recommending this product to my friends and family.

Works great for hyperlipidemia/high triglycerides
Great product overall. Took the supplements for three months (two daily) and my triglycerides went from 364 in January, to 256 in April. Digested well when I took them, and never had any stomach complaints. Perfect option for those who are vegetarian/vegan, or don’t like taking fish/krill based omega-3 supplements.Only downside is the cost, honestly. Switching back to a burpless pill from Nature Made instead, as Calgee is not cost effective. Would give it five stars if it was a bit more affordable, but the product is great otherwise!

The formula must have changed or something. Beware – not the same anymore!
I have purchased this numerous times, and my most recent purchase of the double pack was rancid and has an extremely strong fishy smell!! I am not sure if this is a new formula or a bad batch, but the latest ones I ordered smell horrendous and are also LARGER than normal capsules!! There is absolutely no way I can take these now. Please tell me this is a bad batch, not a formula change? This is my ninth/tenth time ordering, as they were good and effective, but there is something off this time. I submitted feedback to the seller regarding this (with no response), and realized I cannot return them, which is disappointing and wasteful as they are inedible.When I discovered these originally, the supplement itself was great (easy to take, no aftertaste, etc.), and was a great alternative to fish oil for vegans/vegetarians. Unfortunately, they had some issues with quality control as well, but I overlooked that due to the capsules being good quality. They continuously came with only 59 capsules, instead of the 60 as indicated, leaving one odd remaining capsule when you are meant to take two capsules daily, for a 30-day supply. Calgee corrected the issue the first time indicating it was a manufacturing mistake, which could understandably happen, but seeing the issue constantly made me loose confidence in what I am buying, especially for the price compared to other products. The inconsistency could be overlooked, but this last batch being rancid, now solidified my reasoning to look for a better product elsewhere.
