My mom has really bad circulation and her bones hurt her all the time, every single day. She also has a bad liver so I wanted her to try something healthy beside Aleve. She started this supplement over two weeks ago and she is still taking it. I ordered the thirty count just in case she did not like it. I think she seems to be more mobile then she was two weeks ago so I am thinking this has made a difference for her.This is what she has to say about this: She told me that they are easy to swallow, and they do not leave a bad left over taste in her mouth. She has not had any side effects from this herbal supplement what so ever. My mom has to take a bunch of regular everyday pills so taking or swallowing pills has never been a problem for her. I guess she is used to it. I think they look kind of big but I am not the one taking them. She is going to finish off this bottle and I will come back to update this post if anything changes at all. I have fibromyalgia, carpel tunnel, and tendonitis in my knees and elbows I don’t realize I have pain in some areas till I am bumped, poked or somehow touched in sertian areas. For example most days some spots on my back, lower back and ribs often if touched actually feel bruised. It’s not a nice way to feel. At 16 I was diagnosed with a nervous stomach. At 47 just about everything I put in my mouth gives me terrible heartburn. I often suck on 3 runs at a time to ease it because if I chew them up they make me sick. Go figure huh? I have tried several different brand’s of Turmeric. My parents are in their 70’s and they use the actual spices and make a nasty tea like beverage with honey. My mother says it isn’t so bad. Lol Dad on the other hand says it’s nasty and bitter. His least favorite part is the last part where the spices settle. Perhaps I will feel sorry for him and send him a bottle. They started taking them because my brother and his wife have severe neck and back issues and both suffer from migraines. Both have seen some relief using turmeric. This particular Brand has added 35 mg of Rosemary to boost the effect and help your body absorbe more. Calcium 50 mg is also added obviously good for your teeth and bones but it helps. Overall these ingredients will help with a healthy inflammatory responce, boost immune system, act as an antioxidant and support your health overall. All the reasons above and less dependence on over the counter medications is why I am taking this suppliment. Easy to take 1 or more a day with food, no funky smell or aftertaste, which is nice in a suppliment. I have noticed not being quite so tender. I will never have complete relief from pain, overall it gets worse every year. If this will take the edge off and I can take less pain medications and have less stomach issues… I’ll take it! The Mother of all Turmeric Supplements. Really.
I started taking turmeric about three months ago when I developed an ulcer from NSAID overuse. I’ve had mono for 9 months (this is the third time I’ve had it..and yes, that really happens). Anyway, I’ve tried several brands that have all worked to take the edge off of the muscle pain and headaches, but over time, I’ve learned that the two most important things about turmeric are the % of 95% curcuminoids (otherwise you can just inhale your kitchen spices. LOL) and the addition of Bioperine or black pepper for absorption. This one has no bioperine. However, it does have calcium to fill that role. More importantly, it has 350mg of 95% curcuminoids in ONE TABLET. I dare you to find one better than than on Amazon. I’ve looked and I can’t. I’ve had some with 1200 mg of turmeric but only 100mg of 95% curcuminoids. Be careful! Supplements aren’t well regulated, and you really have to educate yourself to avoid getting duped.Overall, this is the best I’ve tried so far out of the 9-10 brands I’ve come across. I did receive this at a discount for my honest review, and heaven knows I needed it since I’ve tried so many different kinds trying to find one that worked the best!
