Love liquid supplements
I have been taking mushroom supplements in pill form for a while now. While I don’t claim to be an expert on mushrooms, I appreciate that I can control the dosage, mix them into my coffee if I choose and that they are organically grown in the USA. However, they can be a bit expensive for just 31 servings.

Great Addition to my Protein Shakes!
I usually get my daily intake of mushroom goodness in a cup of mushroom coffee in the morning. I don’t always want caffeine though, not even in smaller amounts. When I saw this liquid mushroom additive I thought it’d be great for adding to the protein shake I usually have at lunch or dinner time. It is! I added a teaspoon-tablespoon (just poured a small bit in without measuring) and I couldn’t taste that anything had been added at all. Using the same amount daily, this bottle should last me a full month. I think it’s a great option to have for mushroom lovers!

A Generous 3 Stars – Would Give 2.5 If I Could: Has Mycelium/Not All Fruiting Bodies
I wanted to love this mushroom extract but my concern is that the manufacturer has done two things:1) They used mycelium – which is from the root of the plant and is where the lowest quality ingredients are found. Why use any low-quality ingredients and not ALL fruiting bodies – which provide all of the best benefits from the plant?2) They list 500 mg of organic reishi extract but this includes BOTH fruiting and mycelium extracts. I don’t know how much of this extract is as a whole even from the fruiting bodies. If it is a good majority of it, wouldn’t you want to advertise that? Since you don’t, it only makes me suspicious that not much of this product is from fruiting bodies.I would rate this 2.5 stars if I could – because I can’t even say this product is of average quality – so I feel I am being very generous giving it 3 stars.

Clean, pure and delicious
This is my first experience with Reishi extract and I didn’t quite know what to expect. Something mushroom-y, I suppose. I was surprised when I tasted it: no mushroom flavor at all, just a slightly viscous and slightly sweet liquid with loads of small particles suspended in it. I mixed it with water and could hardly taste it, just a slight sweet taste. It was good! I like that this extract is made from Reishi mushrooms organically grown in the USA and that the beta-glucans are isolated using an ultrasonic extraction technique, not via chemical extraction. The only ingredients other than the Reishi extract are organic vegetable glycerin and purified water. The bottle I received 03/2025 has a best-by date of 10/2026.
