Neat addition to your kids playroom
I got this balance beam set for my grandkids to play on. My granddaughter is just starting gymnastics, and I thought it would be a great way for her to practice her balance. The smooth side is easier for kids to traverse. The opposite side, which has pegs placed in various spots offers a little more of a challenge. When you lay it out, you can make it straight or curved into a large circle. It stores neatly stacking one piece upon the other. It is lightweight enough for the kids to set it up themselves, but not so thin, has to be easily broken And can handle quite a bit of weight without the fear breaking it. The pieces are very smooth polished with a nice finish so no worries of getting splinters. Pretty good price for what you get considering it is well-made and thought out.

Great for my littlest one!
Our little one loves to walk on the edges of curbs and sidewalks to balance, so we ordered this for her and she loves it! It is easy to assemble into different configurations so she can play and not get bored! Her siblings love setting it up for her and walking along it with her! The pieces are sturdy and high quality!

Cute but wish they were wider
These are definitely photogenic but the choice of the things on top of the balance beam is odd to me because they look like they are supposed to be hand and feet holds for climbing. The beams are nicely made and our toddler loves them. They came with the pieces to connect them which is cool but on our grass it just made it way too wobbly so we use them without those. This will be nice to have inside and we can put them on top of our toddler foam play cushions or have the cushions next to it easily. They pair well with the climbing triangle, and the Pikler arch as well. Since they come apart they store easily. I do wish it had some with some sort of bag to throw everything into to keep it all together. Right now we just have it in the cardboard box but that’s not going to work for much longer.

My toddler loves it!
All the pieces are made from wood. You can change the way the beams are set up. The set seems to be made well. I haven’t noticed any signs of damage. The wood does not have a finish on them so they cannot get wet.Overall, the set sems good and would recommend it.

Lots of fun but perhaps a bit pricey for what it is
I recently invested in a pikler set for my kids and thought these balance beams and board would help complete their gym area. I do like the quality of these boards that are sturdy and able to be put together by a preschooler. They don’t have any rough edges. The balance board is a little thinner and slips around on hardwood, but it has still held up to lots of rough play and is doing fine. My kids don’t like the designs on the boards because they say they hurt their feet. That might be their personal issue, but they run around barefoot outside with no complaints, so I do take note when they tell me something like that.I prefer their stepping stones for a good indoor balancing activity, but we’ll still get some good use out of this set. I comes in just a boring brown box so isn’t as good for gifting. I do think $50 is a more reasonable price point for it and might buy it at that.
