Functional but a little awkward
With a newborn at home being able to find some time to go to the gym is next to impossible. I decided to review this adjustable dumbbell as I never go above 25lbs with dumbbells and itโs adjustable so that I can warm up with some lighter weight. Since this dumbbell is adjustable it is a little awkward to get used to so be aware. Overall with it being a single dumbbell and adjustable I would recommend it as it will come out cheaper than buying multiple sets of different weight dumbbells and takes up less space while feeling comparable in quality.

This Choiana adjustable dumbbell is both well-designed, and well made. You receive a center handle, which is coated in a rubbery material to improve your hand’s gripping power. On either end are coated steel discs, and you add and remove discs as needed to achieve your desired weight amount. The dumbbell sits on a sturdy rack or tray, which helps protect it, and stops it from rolling around. Adjusting the amount of weight is easy – you just twist the center handle, and listen for a click; the appropriate number and size of discs will be added or removed from the stack automatically, helping you keep up momentum during a workout without a lot of pausing and fussing around. Build quality on this dumbbell is excellent, safety and ease of use are top-notch, and it’s offered at a fair price point. The weight can be adjusted from 5 to 25 pounds, making it a versatile tool for people at varying stages of their fitness journey.

Versatile and effective
This is working well for me. The intervals of 5/10/15/20/25 pounds are perfect for me, I am able to use this single dumbbell to train my muscles to failure. As far as the adjustable mechanism itself, I have not had any issue and the dumbbell is working as it should. My one qualm with this is that it is a bit bulkier than I expected, which makes it difficult to get 100% full range of motion on a chest press – The dumbbell canโt get past my armpit. Other than that, this product has been very versatile and effective for me.

Fantastic Dumbbell
This is a great Dumbbell and works prefecture for my hectic life when I need to squeeze in an easy workout without spending a ton of time switching around the weights and screwing them down. This Dumbbell you easily select the weight you want and your ready to go, no need to dig around for the right weights or connection pieces, just lock in and lock on to your workout. The Dumbbell itself is made from high quality materials and feels very tough and durable, like it can definitely take the heat. Overall this is a fantastic piece of workout equipment that I use as often as I can and makes it easy to do so with its convenient design. Highly recommend!

Easy to use
These are really easy to adjust the weight. Just a twist of the handle allows you to select the weight you want. The weight is displayed so you know what you’re selecting. Changing weight is fast, but it does slowdown workouts if you are doing different weights from exercise to exercise. If you can, it would be best to plan exercises back-to-back that use the same weight.These are the best price I have seen of adjustable weights. They are also very clear about coming individually or sets. I had purchased a set in the past that was advertised as a weight set and came as one dumbbell. That one dumbbell cost more than a pair of these and they are the same weight. I am really happy I got this.
