Good product, no adverse effects.
I don’t really analyze my supplements in reviews as I read into what they do before hand to find out if it will be helpful for me. I then try out the herb/root/spice or whatever the product is. I don’t necessarily prefer a brand over another one if it gives me the results I need. I feel quite poorly if I do not take a multitude of supplements for various conditions. I have tried to discontinue use of the supplements I take when I wondered how much they were helping me. It only took a few weeks for me to notice a drastic difference. Mind you, this is all of the supplements I take. I take supplements for my liver, digestion, mental health, bone and joint health and a few others. Berberine is quite worth it for me to take, so I consider it an essential supplement. I noticed no adverse effects from taking this. No upset stomach. No problems whatsoever after introducing this product into my regiment.

A daily part of my supplement regimen
I had been hearing all kinds of great things about berberine for while and thought I would give it a try.According to the Supplement Facts on the back of the bottle each dose of two capsules contains 1200mg of berberine HCl (Berberis aristata) and 10mg of Royal Jelly, whatever that is. Anyway, the packaging on the front says that it also contains cinnamon, bittermelon and gymnema but they are not listed on the ingredients on the rear of the bottle. All I can figure is that in may be part of the “Royal Jelly” but I don’t know” It confused me. I am taking it daily with the rest of my supplements and will hopefully see the effects soon.These capsules have a mildly yellow coloring and no taste (not that I keep it in my mouth long enough to find out). The shells of the capsules seem sturdy, maybe a little soft but at no time did I worry about it breaking.All-in-all, I do wish that they were a little more clear on their labeling but I don’t see any reason to doubt its claims or purity.

Berberine and more for a good price

Please talk to your doctor if you have questions about any supplements you are taking or considering taking.I ordered this for the berberine as I’ve been taking it for a while now and can tell the difference when I don’t take it by looking at the meter (and occasionally perhaps in how I feel – maybe placebo). This product includes more than Berberine and together they seem to be synergistic with berberine, so the numbers on the glucose meter often are better than just when using berberine alone.I also tried their liquid version but couldn’t stand the taste. This one is easy to swallow and of course has no taste.

Aww man, bad news
I didn’t read the fine print until I actually opened the bottle. My bad. The headline says Berberine Supplement 1200mg -Natural Plant- Based with Berberine HCL, Cinnamon, Bittermelon, Gymnema. I did take a quick look at the supplement facts to note each capsule contains an alleged 600 mg of Berberine HCL. I failed to notice the hugely advertised remainder of the very good ingredients (all very useful for glucose control) aren’t really there. What you get instead is 5 mg of royal jelly per capsule.The front of the label even says CINNAMON BITTERMELON & GYMNEMA. The big picture downpage says 4 PREMIUM INGREDIENTS. WTF China people? This is a big huge fail. What is really in this stuff?

Uncertain Results with Berberine After Several Months
I’ve been Taking Berberine as recommended by my nurse to help lower my blood sugar levels. After several months, I haven’t noticed any significant changes in my levels. I’ll keep using it as advised, mainly because I haven’t experienced any allergic reactions or side effects. While I’m still hoping it will eventually show some benefits, I’m not entirely sure how effective it is.
