Effective Supplement & Love that US Amazon will ship to Canada
I had low milk supply, and worked with an IBCLC and my naturopath to boost my supply in hopes of exclusively breastfeeding.The last piece of the puzzle (in addition to milk removal, oral tie support, checking blood levels etc) was adding in a galactagogue supplement.I had tried the Mother’s Milk More Milk Plus Tincture for three weeks and it didn’t really change my supply. I switched over to Holistic Lactation Advanced Formula and within a week I started seeing an increase.I take the full recommended dosage (3caps 2x daily) — I started with a lower dose and slowly upped it. I tend to be very insensitive to herbs and find I need a higher dose than other people.So I go through a bottle every 15 days. I’m hoping to slowly wean soon so I don’t have to take quite as high a dose.Overall, amazing supplement, and was the last piece of the puzzle in getting me to a full supply of milk.Also, it’s now easy for me to pump after a feed and get an extra ounce, which allows me to have a couple of bags in the freezer or have a couple ounces fresh available if I’m going to be away for an appointment.This was not a feeling I had before whatsoever.Also, I’m in Canada and can’t order directly from Holistic Lactation, but I’m able to ship to Canada through the US Amazon website!

This helped save my milk supply!
When I first began breastfeeding several months ago, my lactation consultant told me about the supplements from Holistic Lactation. I bought a couple just to have on hand in case I ever needed them, and I was so thankful I did. My 3 month old had RSV and barely ate anything. I hardly could find the time to pump to help maintain my supply, and as a result, it tanked. My son who normally was drinking 4-5 oz at a time was now barely getting an oz at each feeding, and was getting increasingly frustrated. I was so worried and discouraged once I realized I had a low supply, so I immediately started taking the Advanced Lactation Formula supplement hoping it would help. Within just a couple of days of taking it I noticed a big difference, and my baby was getting more at each feeding. Before, I barely pumped more than a few drops, but a few days after taking this, I started to pump 3-4 oz in less than 10 minutes. I am still taking this supplement, and I’m so thankful to say that my supply is better than ever, and I have a very happy baby!

Didn’t work for me
These did not work for me, personally. I started taking them around noon the day I got them and immediately noticed less production than what I would normally get in an afternoon (I’ve been tracking everything carefully to be certain which supplements work and which don’t). I kept taking it for the next two days and each day I saw a decrease of about 1oz. The day after I stopped taking them, my full daily production jumped back up the 2oz it had decreased during the days I was taking them. Perhaps I should’ve given them a longer trial run, but I can’t afford to lose any of the volume I’ve worked so hard to build up to.

Amazing, so worth the money!
A little sad to see so many bad reviews. The lack of education on breastfeeding is sad. You can’t just take a pill and expect to magically have milk. You have to feed baby on demand, power pump, nourish yourself. So many people give up before they even try. This woman is helping so many people be successful in their nursing journeys, and I am so grateful!! I absolutely loved this product. Not only because it was all natural and fenugreek free, but because even just taking 1 pill a day kept my supply in excess. I swear it even helped me prevent continuous clogs. I share with everyone I know.

The side effect I experienced
It help but it as a side effect maybe I’m the only person who experience this I’m not sure but sometime when I take it I start to bleed, mine you it does work. I’ve seen the difference when I don’t really take it from when I do. Worth the value for the money. It has no taste really and it’s very easy to swallow.

I rarely take the time to write reviews through Amazon, but this product is AWESOME. I took 1 capsule in the morning and one at night on my first day trying it, and by bedtime I could already feel a difference. My little one has been nursing so much lately and my body was having a hard time keeping up and I was feeling drained. She now is going a little longer between feeds and seems more satisfied after feeds. She’s also sleeping better at night after her feeds. I follow Holistic Lactation on Instagram and have seen others testimonies after using the Advanced Lactation Formula and decided to give it a try. I had no idea that it also helped to balance out hormones and as someone who has been struggling with PPD/PPA, I feel like a weight has been lifted off and as an added bonus, I feel like my postpartum hair loss has slowed down significantly. Thank you, Jacqueline for this wonderful supplement. I will tell all the breastfeeding/pumping mamas I know about it!

I ordered these after seeing so many positive reviews and was very optimistic that it would increase my milk supply. However, I’ve been taking three capsules, twice daily for over two weeks now and have not noticed any increase in my supply. I will continue to take them I hope until they run out, but would have thought any change in my supply would have occurred by now.
