    Great product, questionable shipping packaging.
The amazon packaging for shipment is weak for glass containers. I do not recommend ordering more than one bottle at a time as I have had them break and then struggled for Amazon to make it right. As far as supplements go, Bluebonnet is one of my favorite brands, and the marketplace pricing beats most local distributors by $5-15.

    No complaints.
I was definitely lacking copper and these made the difference. I will buy more.

    Best ever!!
I use this product to help calm my mind and help me sleep. I ran out and it’s been a month and I notice the difference. I’m 55 and Menopausal so it’s been difficult to sleep and I’ve seen a change in how I think. Sometimes just negative thoughts get in my mind. I’m normally a very positive person. After taking this not only did I get better sleep I noticed a better mind set.Although I’m not a doctor, I am an expert on my body and how I feel. This made a huge difference. Soo glad I found it.

This is my favorite form of magnesium to take
This is my favorite form of magnesium to take. I muscle test and this one tests very strong for me. If you don’t know much about magnesium and what it does in the body, check out Carolyn Dean, M.D., N.D.’s book: THE MAGNESIUM MIRACLE. Did you know that magnesium leaves our body every 12 hours naturally and we must take more every day… every 12 hours at least? Did you know that calcium contracts (muscles, arteries, the heart) and magnesium relaxes… so take your magnesium! We have been studying Mg for over two years now. There are many videos on YouTube with Carolyn Dean, Dr Osborne, Jim Williams, Dr Stephen Sinatra, and more sharing info about magnesium… it could save your life. We believe it has saved our lives and the life of our daughter… who was having angina symptoms, but the doctor she went to didn’t pick up on that. My husband told her about when he had angina, so she looked angina up online and discovered that this challenges she was facing were symptoms of angina. She started taking Mg and her symptoms went away. 🙂 I am so thankful for this form of magnesium. I do use a couple of others also and usually muscle test as to which one my body wants at that moment. I also use a liquid Mg, and sometimes rub that right on my feet/toes when they get muscle spasms (a symptom of magnesium deficiency)… which I tend to get when I forget to Mg during a stressful day (stress is one thing that strips the Mg out of the body). Then it gets to where I need it the most a little faster. I always keep this brand of Mg in our home and carry it with me too!

    Best Form No Longer.
Bluebonnet Buffered Chelated Magnesium I’ve taken this product for the past 4 years; at the time of my first review this product was mislabeled and it took a lawsuit [see: truthinadvertising period org, look up bluebonnet chelated magnesium] for BlueBonnet to change the label. Since the lawyers almost certainly got a payday and didn’t force BB to publicly disclose this to their customers in some fashion other than changing the label (certainly, customers weren’t compensated by the class action even though one of the stated reasons for the lawsuit-harm to consumers’ wallets), I’m not particularly grateful to them.As such, I can’t say it is cost effective anymore. At the time, according to the information I could obtain (about Albion who I knew supplied Bluebonnet was the best source and pure). That turned out to be incorrect. However, I didn’t know since unlike the complaintant in the lawsuit this product didn’t and doesn’t give me loose stools. I also don’t have problems with stearates, unlike some. If you do, you need to look elsewhere (or you can have your allergy treated by seeing a NAET professional). Since Albion was also named as a co-defendant in the same lawsuit and Albion (according to the lawsuit) had the ability to control Bluebonnet’s label, I don’t know if there was a legal reason or not that forced them to be unable to change it. Perhaps if I had inside information like another reviewer, I would. But it appears there is a some sort of NDA on that, so we won’t know unless someone breaks it or leaks documents. Interestingly it seems Nuvira changed its information and pulled/changed labels on its products in response to the lawyers. Perhaps they had a better legal team when they were signing the purchase agreement with Albion. The only people who know can’t talk about that either. Oh well.Since it worked great for the last 4 years, normally it would be 5 stars. But it is 50% magnesium oxide (and thus overpriced), so I choose to drop one star. Since I don’t know whether or not they had legal reasons for their actions I’m not going to deduct anything for that. I will probably be looking at other products the next time I order, but I’m hardly going to stop taking the stock I have. Not sure I will recommend it to others.–original review for transparency–I have taken many forms of magnesium over the last two years. I started with powder in drinks (this is the oneMagnesium Serene 800mg-Tangerine Flavor – 4 oz – Powder I liked the best), but note I don’t use them anymore: they are absorbed better than elemental magnesium in pill form, but were not cost effective for me. They are a good choice if you cannot swallow pills. Albion (who supplies Bluebonnet with the chelated magnesium) makes the best chelation of magnesium that I’ve found. I need to take 3 pills of this a day to avoid my symptoms (mucous and poor sleep) and this form allows me to avoid the GI troubles that result from the quantity that I must take of other magnesium products. Bluebonnet makes a magnesium aspartate as well, which is not as good. I need to take 5-6 pills of the aspartate daily to obtain about 90% of the benefit of 3 of the Albion chelated pills; more is not advisable(GI issues). That’s better than not getting more than about 50% improvement with GI trouble from non-chelated products, however. For me, this is the most cost effective solution, with the most positives and least negatives. The pills are medium size, roughly 2cm by 6mm dia (15/16″ by 1/4″ dia). I cannot swallow tablets this size, but the gelcaps go down fine one at at time.

Good for tight muscle & sleep
I have trouble sleeping and often experience tightness in my shoulders and neck. This product helps relax that tightness, and I can feel the difference after just one use. While it’s not a sleep aid, it does help me fall asleep more easily.

    Wow…. quality sleep at last
Pleasantly surprised how good that has been enabling both my wife and me to get good quality sleep. We didn’t know this was something copper could provide, but noticed it recently after taking one tablet about an hour or two before bedtime. Totally recommend.

    important coenzyme
I bought this product many times. Copper is a coenzyme involved in oxygen transport. Years ago i read NIH (National Institutes of Health) study “Why copper is preferred over iron for oxygen activation”. Doctors recommended iron supplements for my anemia, but they did not work. After reading the study i decided to try copper. It WORKED! My sleep improved, I breathe easily and have more energy. As an additional bonus, copper slows down greying hair. Some people take it together with Zinc which is a mistake since Cu and Zn compete for absorption. It’s better taking them apart. Zn levels will go down in blood plasma if you take too much copper and vice versa. This product has no side effects, at least for me. I take it for years, never had a rash or anything else. Recommended.
