Very comfortable and light weight
Love this style for its thicker sole as well as being surprisingly light weight. The brown is more of a soft Carmel color which goes with blue jeans and dress slacks and most everything I wear.

Great shoe, minor problems
When I first started investigating shoes with a wide toe box for women, I was deluged with hundreds of ads for various brands! Since I had already ordered a pair of the Hike brand, that’s where most of the ads came from. It became increasingly annoying! Finally my shoes arrived! The ads haven’t stopped, but now I can say something about them from my experience.First I have to say I had foot surgery the end of January and I still have some pain and swelling in my right foot. For the price of these shoes, I had expected a little better quality look, but I’ll test the quality over time. The one thing I noticed was the insole was rough, but perhaps that’s so your foot can get a grip. They are super light weight and very stretchy. For me, they were easy to get on because there is a separate tongue to pull back rather than kind of a “sock” that a lot of this style of shoes have. Unfortunately, the tongue is long and thick around the ankle, making it fit and look awkward. If you have a long thin ankle, it probably wouldn’t be a problem, but it’s why I took one star off.I wore these shoes for running errands and shopping about 3 hours today. The lack of heel cushion was an issue for both feet, but overall, they were comfortable. I would recommend them to anyone keeping the above in mind, who doesn’t mind the cost of simple casual shoes.

Most comfortable shoes ever
Upon trying these shoes on, they were so very comfortable. However, I did return them because they were just too short. I normally wear a size 7, but ordered a size 7 1/2. I will be ordering another pair in a larger size because I know that these will be very comfortable and healthy for my feet. I ordered them because a friend told me that she had five pairs of them and absolutely love them and will never be without a pair.

Very comfortable for a Wide Width Shoe.
Not for cold weather. But very comfortable, already have 4 different pairs of Hike shoes. Would buy again. If I could find a pair that isn’t breezy for colder weather in a wide width that would be awesome!
