Great morning shake
I was skeptical about this one at first ingredients are the basics at first i thought it tasted a bit strong at first but it comes around tasting great after a few days of drinking it and i mist say i went to doctor today my cholesterol has dropped not because of the product but the change ive done and im sure this in the morning instead of a meal is a great jumpstart untill lunch time!

Helps me get enough protein
I order the chicolate and I don’t mind the taste and texture! I initially thought it was a little too sweet. I mixed with skim milk and thats not really necessary though it made it a richer shake if you’re looking to treat yourself. I now just use water and dilute it down a little further. I knocked it down a star because it doesn’t have any vitamins so can’t really be used as a meal replacement like I was hoping, therefore it’s a little too spendy for a snack or dessert. I try to only use it when my daily protein level needs a boost. I do recommend a shaker cup and to add a little water first then scoop then the rest of the water… otherwise the powder sticks in the bottom corners or flip lid and is hard to get it to mix in. Other brands have similar issues and its not a deal breaker you just have to find a technique that works for you. It seems good quality and since I’m not lactose intolerant I digest it fine. Subscribe & save saves you a little money.

Great alternative to CSE
I have been buying Clean Simple Eats CSE protein for years but they are too expensive now. This is an excellent alternative, more protein and less carbs than CSE and it is so smooth. It has the texture of powdered milk and blends well in whatever I use it with. No gritty texture or weird aftertaste. I have purchased the vanilla and chocolate and love them both.

Hazardous Chemicals
Why was the warning about hazardous chemicals not shown in the advertising of this product on Amazon? In small type at the bottom of the bag on the rear – “Consuming this product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known in the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm …”I cannot return this product because it is a food item, and I will not give it to the family member I purchased it for due to this warning so in the trash it goes – expensive lesson learned. Upon researching this protein product, I have found others that state that they are free of these hazardous chemicals, so I will be purchasing one of them. One star rating only because there is no option for zero stars.

Good Macros and Great taste
The vanilla tastes similar to a birthday cake flavor, which I like. Very clean ingredients in the vanilla ( chocolate doesn’t). Very good value for something that includes BCAAs.

Great! BUT it contains Lead
I’m a big fan of Sports Research, especially their supplements. So I decided to give this a try. It’s got a great taste (sweetened with stevia so that’s a plus), I also like the addition of amino acids and MCT oil, but once the package arrived I ripped it open but then saw the Cancer/Reproductive harm label. I already opened it and cannot return which is unfortunate. Will probably end up using it but won’t buy againOverall: It’s a good product, but there are plenty other great protein powders that don’t contain lead. Buy one of those products instead!!

I’m a gym person and I decided to try that whey protein. Fortunately it’s a good quality , it smells good and it didn’t give me any digestion problems. It dissolves easily when I’m doing my protein shake and the Energy level is a 100/10.😍😍😍😍😍

Over the last 20 yrs of hitting the gym and supplementing my diet with protein powders I have never tasted something so … hideous as this.As other reviewers here have written, it has a sickenly sweet chemical taste. It absolutely is not “vanilla” by any stretch. And the taste is overpowering too – I added a double espresso shot to the smoothie and cannot taste a hint of coffee, the “off” taste is just that strong.It’s a shame because I’d come to trust Sports Research for a lot of my other supplements.
