Ridded Me of Leg Cramps
I went to a very bad functional medicine chiropractic doctor and, within a few months under his “care”, I developed terrible leg and foot cramps. Sometimes the pain would be excruciating. A different doctor (MD) recommended this supplement to me and gradually the cramps stopped after about 9 months, I think. About 6 months after that, another doctor I consulted (about my persistent lack of energy etc.) saw I was taking these and, after reviewing my tests, instructed me to continue with them and maybe increase the dose. I thought I could skip some doses but, with the stress of the holidays last Christmas, I got a few light cramps. I am now taking them regularly and the cramps are again gone.I take one a day as the bottle recommends. I was taking two per day at first. After many months however, I developed a nagging small jabbing pain in one leg. Suspecting this product, I reduced to one a day and the pain went away. I hope this helps in case you are wondering about dosing.I have never had a supplement provide such an obvious benefit before. Wow, it really works for me.UPDATE: THE CURRENT OFFERING IS NOT THE SAME PRODUCT I REVIEWEDThe company has changed their formula and increased the price. Some months ago, I saw that the Enzymatic Therapy brand had an identical looking formula and was a dollar a bottle cheaper. I purchase 4 bottles and now needed to purchase more. Well, I did’t think they worked quite as well as the old IntegrativeTherapeutics brand. I occasionally, maybe every month or 2, have cramps in my feet. So I came back here to purchase future bottles. Now I see the formula has changed. For one thing, the potassium is not chelated. There are other changes in formula as well. Oh, and ONE LAST TIP: You can buy a bag of Magnesium Bath Flakes by Ancient Minerals and dissolve them to make a liquid you can spray on your feet when you get out of the shower. This is a good way to get a little extra magnesium. (One part flakes to one part water, just leave them for a day to dissolve then add them to a spray bottle.) I had discontinued doing that when I thought I was cured of cramping but now have added that back to my routine in the last couple of weeks. I think it helps.SECOND UPDATE:I just received the new bottle of Enzymatic. The formula has changed to be exactly the same as the Integrative brand all the way down to the “other ingredients”. You need 2 tablets to get one serving as well. The pills are now about 3 times as big. (As other reviewers have complained about in the Integrative brand.) I take a lot of supplements and this is the biggest pill I think I’ve seen – yikes! It makes me think that the same company is making the pills and they are marketed under 2 different brand names. The Enzymatic brand is about $6 cheaper. I am not at all happy with these changes. One note: when I wrote about dosing above, that was with the old, stronger formula. Please be careful you do not choke on these!THIRD UPDATE 5/2019I have stopped taking these. Because of a review on Amazon, I read that Potassium and Magnesium Aspartate may be a better form to take (GNC brand on Amazon seemed a good choice). The leg cramps are seldom a problem with this brand as well. The reason I felt I had to write another update is that I realized I almost never have a feeling of fluttering in my chest (heart) these days. When I was on the Krebs, I was experiencing them but did not link that as the cause. Could that be arrhythmia? Too much Magnesium ( or possibly unabsorbed magnesium? can cause arrhythmia ). I was just thinking the other day how I don’t get that flutter. It just occurred to me that the new brand may be why. I was reading about Life Extensions Neuro-Mag and how they feel their form of magnesium was superior. A reviewer there linked magnesium to arrhythmia . Anyway, in good conscience, I had to add this experience to my review so that you can be on the lookout for this kind of symptom no matter what form you choose.

Seem to help with leg cramps…not sure
I don’t like to give a 3 star review for a product just because I don’t know if its working, so for what I DO know, I take them every morning. I had very uncomfortable leg cramps one night, so I took them additionally the next night and actually had no leg pain at all that night. I guess that says something.I don’t like that they’re really big and hard to swallow. I usually down a lot of supplements in one gulp, but these make it painful to do that, so I have to take them one at a time.So I’ll probably order again. Always leery of new (to me) brands, but so far so good, unless I find out they’re made somewhere iffy.

Integrative is a quality product
I have a lot of allergies and have a hard way making it through some supplements due to binders, impurities, dies, etc. I have no problem with Integrative which is recommended by my outstanding naturopath. At the moment Integrative and Thorne are the most quality supplements available. These particular pills are large but I have no trouble swallowing them so long as I don’t group them with a bunch of other pills at the same time.

Dr. Recommended.
My doctor recommended this particular brand of magnesium after my blood work came back. Of course I was low in magnesium among “other things” I had horrible leg cramps at night, difficulty sleeping or having a hard time becoming sleepy at night time. The magnesium tablets are a bit large however, I take two (2) at night and have been taking them for several years. If I run out and do not fill soon and several days pass I can tell a difference, my legs and feet will begin to ache. Easy to order, good price, quick delivery!

I was prescribed this magnesium by a doctor, because it was better absorbed in my system. Always get great results taking it in the evening before bed and sleeping very well!
