Very good quality yoga wheels
I’ve never used a yoga wheel before so I had no expectations for results, but I was interested in anything that could increase the effectiveness of my stretching routine.First off if you’re a beginner like me, you should definitely look up some free videos on how to properly use a yoga wheel as improper use cab put strain on your back and cause injury. That said, there are plenty of people that have uploaded easy to follow, informative tutorials and routines.Upon using these for the first time it was a little tricky as I’m a larger person and due to a stroke I have poor balance and weakness on one side of my body. However, these wheels are sturdy and well made enough that by taking it slow I was able to use them properly and effectively. And let me tell you, my morning stretches have been taken to a new level and my body feels great. Sorry for the long winded review, but bottom line, these are worth the purchase and they will last.

These are Great, but. . .
So these arrived and I immediately took them out of the box to take them for a spin. The first thing I notice is a negative – they are not as wide as I would like. I have a wheel that I have been using that is quite wide and it really does the trick. That said, these are very solid and the best part is the four different sizes and the fact that they nest.I used the large one to roll my back and it was solid and got the job done, but had to move it around to accomplish what my wider wheel does in one shot. The second to the smallest is where these become amazing. I road bike 20mi at least four times a week and my hips and quads get really tight and sore.This afternoon I went on a ride, came home, jumped in the hot tub for about 10 mins and then rolled my glute and thighs on this wheel. I could feel it doing its job and the size is perfect for me. I jumped in the ice plunge tub after that and my legs are feeling great. UPDATE: So it’s the next day and I just went for another ride and my avg speed was up 1 mph today. That never happens. My legs felt super fresh.I will find reasons and spots to try the other two sizes, but for now, the two I tried are meeting my needs well. I removed one star due to the width of the large wheel for use on one’s back. But others might find this to be a positive. I’m 6′ 180lbs and have a pretty broad back and shoulders.

unique foam roller with various sizes
This set includes 4 foam rollers with different diameters each designed to precisely target specific muscle group. I personally had to do some research on which one is for which. Thus, it would have been nice if they provide some instruction video or manual for the best use for each roller.The quality-wise, it seems very durable. Even though unlike other foam rollers that are usually filled, these foam rollers have big holes and are thin. Therefore, I was worried at first if it could really handle my weight. However, it can handle my weight easily. Since they have soft surfaces, I find it good for beginners who have lower pain tolerance.

Loved using these to help relax my muscles after a long day or just a hard workout. The various sizes are great for different muscle groups as well the the back. Use it fairly frequently and no issues with durability, still going strong!

Great for the back and other body parts
I’ve owned a similar roller for years but never found a whole set at this price range. For those familiar with foam-rollers, there are some key differences. First, these are hard plastic with a rubbery coating. They are much stiffer and less forgiving than a foam roller. Second, they are narrower than most foam rollers. This makes them easy to store and use – and gives you the ability to precision-target some bodyparts.I use these primarily to stretch out my spine. Since your spine has different curves, having a set of these is helpful. For example, the smallest hoop is good for the neck, while something a but larger is good for a lumbar stretch.Of course, you can use these with other body parts. On soft- muscular areas, these make for an intense stretch. Be careful about rolling over joints like elbows of knees – you probably want to avoid that even with a stiff foam roller.

Not really a “foam roller.” Not for beginners.
When you hear “foam roller,” you’re likely thinking that these wheels will be at least somewhat soft. But in reality, they are a hard solid plastic with a foam cover glued around it. You can actually see where the piece was joined together. So these are going to be a lot more firmer than what you’re likely used to. If you’re using it for massage, it’s almost certainly going to hurt if you’re not already used to using a device like this.But there are advantages to using rollers with a design like this, with the most noticeable being that these are very sturdy. I can only speak for myself, but I was able to sit on the largest wheel without it immediately cracking under the weight. These are also very good for assisted motion exercises for the arm and leg. Some people like the discomfort that these harder rollers bring, but these are good for providing targeted muscle tension relief. Just take care not to bruise yourself.If you’re looking into getting your first set of rollers, I would highly recommend starting with a softer foam roller and move up to a set like this. For what they are, these are a decent pick, but there are better options out there.

Excellent value matched with quality
These Effekt rollers are great. They have a strong plastic inner ring with a quality foam surround. Compared to your traditional foam roller, these provide a firmer surface and they come in 4 sizes to allow you to virtually target all your muscles.I really like the flat surface as it gives good traction contact with my muscles. The largest roller works great with my back and often adjusts it back into alignment when it’s off from activity.The quality, effectiveness and price point make it a must have for self recovery.
