Excellent form of vitamin C from a trusted company
I’ve taken vitamin C for years but have always used the buffered kind to avoid stomach upset. However, I was attracted by this liposomal vitamin C produced by Solaray, a company I’ve always trusted. Update to prior review of strong smell
Have used this for years and no problems until this order. Can’t return according to AZ according to the bot, but I’m scared to use these. These aren’t inexpensive so I’d love to talk with someone but can’t get past the bot.Update: Finally reached AZ rep over phone who refunded $ and also the seller reached out to offer as well. I am not sure why this batch smelled so strong, and I did dispose of the contents, but I ordered some more from somewhere else just to see if it was a fluke. The new bottle arrived and still had a vinegar smell, but not as strong, so perhaps it is something new with the packaging, but not harmful to use. I apologize if this misled or scared anyone. I never tried the first batch due to the smell, but the second bottle I ordered has not caused any problems.

I have been taking regular Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) for years, and have been reading a lot about Liposomal C having superior absorption and that some think it as effective a intravenous Vitamin C. If you are checking out this product, I assume you have looked into Liposomal vitamin C and the research behind it – if not, check out the Vitamin C foundation and other sites. This Solaray Liposomal C is high quality and effective. I am on my third bottle, and notice I do not get sick when my wife and children bring home a cold or virus, or when a coworker is coughing all over my desk.Also, make sure you don’t take it on an empty stomach, as it is not buffered and will give you a stomach ache. Take after eating food.
