It’s always tough to review vitamins and supplements without sounding like a loon. They take time to have an effect, and even then the effect might not be directly attributable to the product. Worse yet very few people, myself included, are equipped to test for strength or purity, making an objective review difficult at best.What I can tell you is that this Vitamin E does pretty much everything it can to inspire confidence. It’s well sealed against tampering with a heat shrink over the entire cap and bottle, as well as seal over the mouth of the bottle once the cap is removed. The bottle itself is amber glass (not plastic) to protect against spoilage from light. The ingredients, potency, place of manufacture, and expiration are all clearly marked. It also includes a blurb about the soy oil used in the softgel capsules, and potential allergic effects.Operating on the principle of “If I can eat it it ought be okay on my skin” (don’t try this with hot peppers btw) I punctured one and rubbed a little on a cut I got. It’s oily of course, and smells inoffensive. It didn’t sting, and produced no irritation nor other reaction; neither immediately nor later. I then swallowed the softgel and it was basically flavorless, and easy to get down.As of writing this review I haven’t gone blind or suffered any ill effect. I don’t expect to see any immediate or terribly appreciable changes, but with luck vitamin E will help keep my skin a little bit smoother and more hydrated over the dry winter. This brand seems to be as good or better than anything I would buy at the drugstore; the price is comparable and the packaging is secure. Add in the convenience of delivery and I’m calling it a win. Would buy again.

Exactly what my eye doctor recommended. Cool reusable glass bottle.
I have had multiple eye surgeries over the past few years and my doctor recommended that I take Vitamin E 400 iu as a way to help my eyes recover from the collateral damage caused while saving what is left of my eye sight. This supplement worked great for me, and I honestly can tell a difference in recovery time between surgeries when I take Vitamin E.For me what is not in a supplement can be just as important as what is in it. This supplement has very few ingredients, and not junk ingredients that I would concerned with. So many supplements these days add the strangest things, so I carefully read labels and stick with manufacturers who use natural ingredients, and leave out the unnecessary crud. They also come in a heavy duty glass bottle that can be reused for many purposes which is cool.They are a little larger than I expected, but easy to swallow and no after taste.

Good quality Vit E at a good value
These Anabolic Labs vitamin are made in a cGMP certified, NPA and FDA facility. They are Non-GMO as well. They say they are inspected in an American lab. That doesn’t sound like they are third party lab tested though. Those quality points are important to me. They are also made with vitamin E that is D-alpha and not DL-alpha (synthetic) tocopherol which I what I prefer and look for in my Vitamin E. They are a fair price for A 90 day supply.

Anabolic Laboratories Natural Vitamin E 400 IU Softgelsn are small softgels which I I like. If you need to these softgels can be opened if you have the use for them topically. The manufacturer and quality controls they have listed are important to me, plus they are made in the USA.

It’s D-Alpha, the good stuff
I’m really pleased to have found a vitamin E that is D-alpha and not DL-alpha (synthetic) tocopherol, and it even throws a few mixed tocopherols in there. While this is TMI, I take it to keep Aunt Flo more manageable, if you ladies know what I mean. But the stipulation is that it must be D-alpha and not DL-alpha. So this brand is ideal for my needs.The softgels are average size for the Vitamin Es (and other fat-soluble vitamins) I’ve taken. No real smell and I’m not chomping down on them so can’t comment on taste.Overall I’m happy with this product for my individual needs, and as always, you have to evaluate what your own needs are for any given supplement.

Small for Easy Swallowing
Both my husband and I take Vitamin E supplements, and we’re both quite happy with these. I’m especially pleased, since they’re small enough that I can swallow the softgel caps with ease. Good buy!
