Great for hot yoga, good as a travel mat
UPDATE (12/19/17): This is my hands down favorite hot yoga towel. It is the exact same size as my standard mat and it doesn’t budge during hot yoga, which is all I can ask for. I put it through the washer and dryer in a mesh bag and it cleans up just fine. It hasn’t shrunk and the bottom is still grippy. The day I was going to buy more, they took it down and I was DEVESTATED. I needed another one, so I bought a different brand that was semi-similar and I was so disappointed. It didn’t even come close to this one. Then they put them back up and I was so relieved! Going to buy several more right away as backups.I used this as an emergency travel mat on my recent four day vacation. I practiced yoga every day of the four days using this towel instead of a regular mat, and I was pretty impressed.Pros: Grippy underside means that it didn’t move at all through my practice (I used it on a rug on top of hardwood). It’s thin and was easy to fold up and toss in my suitcase–the size and thickness of a few t-shirts once it was folded. No smell out of the package. Seems easy to clean. The grey was a nice color.Cons: It was thin to the point of being able to see light through it if you hold it up, so if you’re doing anything on hardwood with just this as your mat, don’t expect any softness or support for your hands, back, or knees. A little bit slippy if you don’t wet it down first/if you’re not sweating as this is intended for hot yoga.If you’re using this on top of your regular mat for hot yoga (it’s intended use), I wouldn’t see any problems with it. The material is soft, absorbs sweat, and becomes more grippy the more you sweat. If you’re using this as a travel mat, it works.

Not slipping!(after a few wears)
This is great!! I have always wanted to deepen my yoga practice but being unable to hold my position in downward dog due to i guess the sweat building up was my issue. I am able to do 30 push ups at once no slippage, pull ups, no slippage but downward dog, even spreading my fingers wide, pushing in heel of palm, the thumb and index, all variation, no yoga mat allowed me to stick even the expensive kind!!! I throw this on and while it is new there needs to be a lil sweat and wear in it but it works great. They said spray it, it def prob would help I’m lazzy, but after having my hands in table top, and making the mat sweat or at least used to my grip ,i am fully able to perform downward dog no slippage. !!!! Highly reccomend. I put 4/5 so hopefully you read how to make it a 5/5 i was just lazy

Didn’t stick to mat like other grippy towels
Nice product, but I’d have to squirt this with water to get it to stick to my mat, and I’m not willing to schlep a spray bottle. I’m opting for a more expensive grippy towel instead.

Fantastic yoga mat with a sticky side that prevents your feet from sliding when you are sweating up a storm. Use it for Bikram and I can’t rate this highly enough.
