    Works with Peloton Bike
Bought this to use with our Peloton bike. It was very easy to pair with the bike and connects within seconds each time I use it. I wear it on my bicep and get an accurate heart rate reading while riding. It also worked placed on my forearm. Really pleased with this for the cost.

    works great
I needed a heart sensor for my virtual rides – for my regular rides outside i use a Garmin Fenix watch for tracking but it is a pain in the but to link it to my tablet for virtual rides in MyWhoosh so i wanted to get a standloane sensor. I first looked at chest straps but they are more expensive and more finicky to work with so I gave the Rhythm 2 armband a shot. The heart rate is just as accurate(or better) as my $600 watch and it is plug and play – just turn it on and search for a heart sensor in the MyWhoosh app – it pops up in a second or two. The same should be true for other virtual ride apps(Rouvy, Zwift, etc)

Good Bang for Your Buck for Peloton!
My expectations were guarded as the reviews for this product were a bit all over the place. I wanted to get this to connect to my Peloton to get the ‘strive score’. It connect immediately and super easily, also connected easily to the peloton app on my phone for non bike workouts. It is very accurate for heart rate, I compared it to my fit bit watch and it’s spot on- if not seems to be more accurate to the level of activity I’m doing. I charge it once a week but I think it could go much longer than that. Be warned that any band like this takes some getting used to (comfort-wise) as bands like this work best if they are tight so the sensor stays in the same location. I do think the quality of the band is fine, probably similar elastic to any band like this. I had zero issues with this product, it was well worth it for the affordable price!

UPDATE: Unit died in only 40 days
This is WAS my go-to HRM for cycling – for a mere 40 days before it started to malfunction. It is now unusable. It is fully charged and will only stay powered on for less than 1 minute before shutting down. This started happening without any damage to the unit (never taken into water even though it’s IPX 68, and have never dropped or hit it against anything). If I can still return through Amazon I will.I also initially had some connectivity drops broadcasting to my Garmin Edge 1040 on ANT+. Apparently it’s an issue with occasional malformed data, which Garmin alleges needs to be corrected on the HRM side. Well, long story short, I abandoned the ANT+ connection and switched to BLE and it was rock solid. Not nearly as many drops as previous, but I would still occasionally get signal drops requiring me to reboot the HRM. I’m not sure if this was an issue with the HRM or on my Garmin Edge. The newest firmware update allows for three simultaneous BLE connections, so no issues with using this as the primary method.I’m thinking this might be the reason why the unit is only $30 now.

    Need iOS to update firmware
It didn’t work when I got it, and I needed to use an iPhone to update the firmware. Now it works fine. Much more comfy than a chest strap. Battery life isn’t great -10 hours at most.

    Excellent Product
This is an upgrade from previous version in how the band works and attaches. Extra stress I put on previous model (Rhythm + that I had since Feb 2018) broke the holder for the band. It was still working perfectly after daily use for almost 7 years! The 2.0 is sleeker and quicker connecting. I do wish I had the ability to change the name of it for Bluetooth.

UPDATE: Light, easy to use, and connects with my Garmin watch.
UPDATE: ON/OFF Switch no longer functions. It has been on since this morning . See the video. I called customer service and was not connected to a human. My last HRM – a Garmin Dual chest HRM quit functioning so I thought I would try an alternative. So far so good – after about 1 month.1. Loved the price.2. Connecting was simple, the same as with a Garmin monitor.3. Light – if I didn’t see it I wouldn’t know that I was wearing it.4. 24-hour battery life is great – No need to charge frequently.5. Stays in place on my forearm when doing jumping jacks and jumping rope. The chest HRM tended to slide down during these exercises. The only issue I had was remembering to turn the device on and off for each use.

Ladies that do not like chest band – this is a great option !
Works great with my Garmin watch and also ties into iFit! The armband is so much more comfortable than a chest band!

This sometimes connects straight away and at other times it won’t connect at all. There are times it will drop the connection, most frustrating. Not a “happy camper” with this HRM.

Another edit after several months of use. I experimented with several positions on my arm and found my inner forearm the best for measurement. I am more impressed with this device than I expected. This is an edit to my original review and I think it’s important because I want to be fair. After more use I think this device is better than I originally suggested. It can give you a relatively accurate HR. I find that it doesn’t adjust as quickly as a chest strap to changes in pace. The real issue seems to be how far it can transmit. If you are using it for treadmill running, outdoor running or riding you bike with a stem mounted display, I think it will be just fine. When I am using it for indoor cycling training I find the bluetooth and ANT signal does not transmit far so I need to keep my laptop/tablet much closer than I normally would. I use an HRM every day and I have been using them for many years. For accuracy I prefer a chest strap. I am for recovering from heart surgery and the strap is super uncomfortable. I have a couple of garmin watches with HR but I know they are inaccurate. I watched some reviews of this product and thought I would give it a try. The ant+ comms is really bad. You have to be right on top of your antenna for it to work. Bluetooth is better but the data is inaccurate at least half the time. It is inexpensive and comfortable but if you need accurate hr data it’s not good enough.
