working nicely, make sure you get d & k
DYOR but taking vitamin k with vitamin d is essential, especially for white people like me who get mistaken for vampires. Working really nicely so far, seems to be a nice supplement

Great product from a great company, you won’t be disappointed.
Many years ago I began taking Vitamin D in the fall and winter as a hedge against the fading sunlight and shorter days. Vitamin D being critical I thought it would be good to try to maintain my levels during the winter.More recently I read that the preferred form of Vitamin D for supplementation was Vitamin D3 so I switched and have been taking it that way for some time.Fast forward to this year I again read that Vitamin D3 should be taken in combination with Vitamin K as Vitamin K assists with the absorption of Vitamin D3. Again this is what I read, not any particular medical advice.Like a lot of people I am particular about the brands of the supplements I take so I was happy to come across this product from Doctor’s Best. I have taken other products with good results and I find this to be no different. The capsules are fairly small and easy to swallow and you get 60 servings in each bottle. Really a great value.

nice formulation from a quality brand
There are a ton of off-brand vitamins and supplements on Amazon. Are you really going to put something in your body from some shady offshore company that can’t even spell the ingredients correctly? Why risk getting an underdosed product (at best), and potentially getting no active ingredient or exposing yourself to contaminants (molds, heavy metals, etc.).Doctor’s Best is a highly-regarded quality brand that consistently earns top marks from ConsumerLab. …and they’re not break-the-bank expensive like Pure Encapsulations or other fancy naturopath-recommended brands. Here in this supplement we’ve got a combo of the common doses of two popular vitamins. (…and really, with a few exceptions, you shouldn’t be taking vitamin D without K2). The K2 is in the preferred-by-many form of MK7 (as opposed to MK4), and the capsule is small and easy to swallow. The MK7 could stand to be dosed slightly higher (a 1:1 ratio of D3 to MK7 is fairly standard), but it’s not really underdosed, considering many multivitamins now contain K2 as well. (There’s one YouTube doctor who recommends 400 mcg daily of MK7 based off just one study; that seems pretty excessive to me.)5000 IU of D3 is a fairly standard dose, but the recommendation is always to check your blood levels (25-OH vitamin D) before starting and periodically, to make sure you’re not one of the rare people who exceed the safe upper limit.

No smell, no taste
I have to take vitamin D supplements on a daily basis, due to an autoimmune disease. I saw the Doctor’s Best Vitamin D3 + K2 on Amazon and liked that it was a gluten free capsule, and vegetarian, and thought I would give it a try.Just received it today. The safety seal is great, with the extra seal over the lid, cotton stuffing, and the lid has the pop top, pour option. I appreciate that. Each capsule, or serving, has 5000 IU of D3, which is a what my doc suggests I take each day. So this bottle will last me 30 days.It also has 100 mcg of K2, which I have not taken before….unless it is bundled in a daily supplement I take. I just looked it up. K2 is a fat soluble vitamin found in animal based products like beef liver and cheese. Interesting……. I will check with my doc before taking this additional ingredient, but I just looked at my daily vitamin label and I indeed take 30mcg a day of vitamin K. Not K2. Worth looking into, although I am sure this is harmless. These supplement look very clean, professional, and safe. Their slogan is bone-afide adventure. Clever.Very impressed with the quality of this supplement and highly recommend

Great formulation, reasonably prices, USA made
This is a new brand vitamin for me, this capsules contains both vitamin D and K2. they are GMP verified, Non GMO, Made in USA and. These really boosted my confidence. It’s easy to swallow pills, which I usually take after eating some fatty food since these are fat soluble. It’s too soon to provide any update on the results but so far it didn’t cause any health issues, I will keep using this supplement.

Seems to work as it says
This supplement works as the description says it will. It’s vegetarian capsules, so you don’t have to worry about it containing any real gelatin. The capsules are a good size, not too large, and easy to swallow. The amount in the bottle is a couple months supply which is a decent amount

good with calcium
I got this for my mom. She used to take D and K with calcium to help absorb calcium. So three pills are a bit pain. This one is good to combine D and K, especially its K7 instead of K8. The amount of D and K is also good for everyday usage.
