Reviews I’d Want My Kids To Read Before Buying –
Dissolves Very Well, Doesn’t Trigger Chewing
I have a terrible problem, am ashamed to admit it, and, so, am admitting it here…. No matter how old I get, I still can’t control the chewing-trigger in my mouth. If anything tastes too strong, in any direction, sour, sweet, salty, I chew it. I chew and chew and chew…. I chew my toothbrush, so no Sonicare-style-spinning-doodads for me. And so, in searching for a sub-lingual B-12, only two criteria present themselves as necessary in my case: It must be Methylcobalamin, which does not metabolize into anything dangerous or toxic, which could harm my liver or kidneys, and it must be neither too sweet nor sour, in the least, nor overly flavored in any way that could trigger my horrible chewing. So, I’ve tried all available products, including store-specific brands from brick-and-mortar establishments, and have found the following:1) Nearly every product that is labeled as sub-lingual, fails to dissolve in a reasonable amount of time. I consider under ten minutes to be reasonable.2) The products that do dissolve are often tart or sour to the taste or exceedingly sweet, triggering salivation and, in my case, chewing, which defeats the purpose of paying more for a sub-lingual form of this vital nutrient.3) Two products dissolve well enough, contain the methylated form and don’t trigger chewing, one costing more than the other for the same number of lozenges with the same amount of B-12 in each little piece. As you may have guessed, Country Life Methyl B-12 5000 micrograms is the cheaper option, of this higher dose, that allows me to place one under my tongue and allow it to dissolve and absorb, as it was designed to dissolve and absorb, without triggering excessive salivation or chewing. In contrast, a product by a company I love and value for many things, Source Naturals, is grainy and, as it dissolves, irritates the area under the tongue, triggering salivation and chewing, a similar problem to their B-Complex lozenges. As another example, many of the sub-lingual products are actually liquids, such as another great company’s product, by MaryRuth, and still another great company’s product, by Nature’s Bounty. These companies are well intentioned and produce wonderful products, however, their liquid B-12 products are very sweet and, rather than absorbing, trigger salivation and swallowing, due to how very sweet they all are.If you need the full 5000 mcg, per dose, and do not wish to combine 2500 mcg or 1000 mcg doses, to get to that dose, then this is the best option I have found. If you are willing to play at the math a bit, then combining 2500 mcg or even 1000 mcg can save you a few dollars, over a three month period.Good luck in finding what works best for you and for your family. As always, in case you haven’t read it elsewhere, do not take any product containing the form Cyanocobalamin, as it does actually metabolize to a small quantity of Cyanide which can actually harm you.

easy to take B12
of all the B12 supplements I have tried I like this one the most because they dissolve easily under the tongue and they don’t taste bad at all. I cannot attest to the efficacy of this product as I haven’t had my B12 level checked since I began taking them but I am hopeful. Amazon has the best price on this product, I have previously purchased from whole foods and the Vitamin shop and I paid more at both places

Important vitamin
Recommended to me by my Dr. and I am looking forward to the benefits. 1-11-2016 Update – I’ve been tested and found to have the MTHFR mutated gene. I have copied this next bit of information on MTHFR mutation –””’changes to a gene that is increasingly linked to various diseases – including thyroid disease – is becoming an increasingly hot and controversial topic. To learn more about the theories and developments related to MTHFR – which is the abbreviation for the gene called methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase, I turned to Dr. Ben Lynch, a naturopathic physician who has focused attention on MTHFR polymorphisms and genetic changes, and the linkage to diseases and conditions. Dr. Lynch runs a site, Mthfr.net, that is dedicated to research and awareness of MTHFR, and his book on the subject was published in 2014.””’ This is not the only source for information on this subject but to save myself time, I’ve pasted this information for you to get started. Taking Vitamin B(s) has slowly made a wonderful difference in my life. I also take a prescribed vitamin B call Cerefolin Nac Tab 6/2/2016.
