    A multi-dose daily.
Solgar is a top shelf product, but one has to take this several times a day – perhaps because it’s a mega dose which might not be best for a gestating child in one dose (?), but I am 72 and need the extra concentration. A good product.

    I don’t buy these because I’m going to be carrying a baby…
A woman I met several years ago had the longest, very beautiful hair. I asked her what her secret was. She told be that with her last child she had taken these and experience fast hair growth and not much hair loss as she had with her previous pregnancies. So, I started these vitamins as well. She was right. My hair grows like it never had before; I don’t have any intention of having more children. I get the required daily amounts as I would in a multivitamin. Why does it work? I have no idea but I feel good and my hair has grown so much I’ve had it cut three times over the past couple of years and it still to the middle of my back.

    Has Soy on Ingredient List
It seemed like a great product but alas it has soy. I would recommend if you are good with soy. If you have allergies probably best to avoid or find a soy free product.

Nutritional values are based on 4 pillz per day.
Four pills per day required to achieve the nutritional value stipulated on the bottle. This means a 120ct bottle will last approx one month if taken everyday. Not great value for the money but it’s a solgar product and they have decent reputation. Although vitamin and supplement industry is NOT FDA regulated. There are many instances of third party laboratories discovering problems with these vitamin makers. Many times a supplement is simply crushed rice powder

These vitamins are great! I started on another vitamin (Pregnacare) well before I even got pregnant and had a horrible reaction to it. The Pregnacare tablets gave me such bad stomach pains and acid reflux that my GP actually thought I had an ulcer and so sent me for an endoscopy. I was miserable. Then someone recommended this and I love them! I’ve never had any problems while taking them (very little reflux, nausea or constipation, even during pregnancy). They are really easy on the stomach, thanks to the gentle form of iron they contain. And they’ve helped me stay healthy and feeling great. I have lots of energy. And they’re excellent for vegetarians especially. Being a vegetarian, I worried that I’d have trouble keeping my iron levels up in pregnancy. But my iron has actually been on the upper end of the normal range the whole time. Even my midwife was impressed! Yes, some of that is probably down to just having a healthy lifestyle, but I’d like to think that these vitamins have helped to some degree. I plan to keep using these all the way through breastfeeding as well and will use them with my next pregnancy too. A great product! I wish I’d found these a long time ago before I had so many problems with the others! And for anyone concerned with the Vitamin D, it’s best to take a separate Vitamin D/Calcium supplement in pregnancy anyway, as Vitamin D and Calcium are best absorbed together but shouldn’t be taken with an iron-containing vitamin (like Solgar or Pregnacare or any of the other prenatals) because they block iron absorption. I’ve always taken them separately (Vitamin D/Calcium at breakfast, Prenatals at lunch and dinner). It’s easy to manage and is the best thing for you anyway.

Super Vitaminpräparat, keine unangenehmen Begleiterscheinungen, auch in der Stillzeit noch super! Kann ich als natürliche Alternative nur empfehlen, besser als alles aus der Apotheke

Good product, wrong country!I bought a bottle of these prenatal vitamins in a local health shop – dose of 2 tablets a day. I then ordered these online and was surprised by the dosage – 4 tablets. I noticed that the vitamin content was also doubled. I actually called Solgar to ask about this and was amazed to be put straight through to a nutritionist, who explained that the purple, 4 a day, product is designed for US market and should not be sold in the UK. The dose is still 2 tablets a day in the UK.

I have been using Solgar Prenatals so far, and was super satisfied. I only needed to take two pills, and they were yellow. The content was different, there were at least 200 mg of choline. Now, as I opened the jar, the color is purple, it’s written that I need to take 4 pills per days (which is significantly more expensive), and the ingredients are different. I won’t buy this product. I would be happy to be able to buy the old product, but this one… I am so disappointed.
