If you have a leg extension machine you’ll likely need the 8 piece set to put on the 4 posts. The small sleeve is considered a piece. I don’t see the point of that sleeve unless it makes the fit somewhat universal. On my 20 year old nautilus machine I just left the sleeve in place. I was expecting this to feel much better on my shin than the 20 year old pad but it’s just about the same. The dense foam isn’t terribly comfortable but it does keep from bruising when lifting heavy weight.I ultimately switched back to my old pads because they have a slightly larger diameter and feel a little bit better.

I ordered this to replace te foam rollers on my exercise equipment and so far it has been working out great. the foam roller is a perfect size and fits snug. please note if you are going to use these rollers for something they are not intended to be used for to make the proper measurements to make sure they fit. the foam rollers seem to be durable and will last a couple years of use. overall these roller were perfect for what i needed them for and it seems like they have a lot more applications they could be used for.
