As my dad dealt with an enlarged prostate for the last 30 years of his life, I wasn’t surprised to see myself suffering from the same condition as I’ve also gotten older. He took saw palmetto every day, which strongly suggests it helped with his symptoms. My situation isn’t that bad yet, which is why I hadn’t tried saw palmetto myself until now.My experience with supplements in general has been more disappointing than not so I really wasn’t expecting much to be honest. That said, these pills are pretty small, which make them easy to swallow, and after taking them as directed for two weeks I do think it’s helped a bit with my flow. While it could be a placebo effect, it’s still enough for me to add this to my daily supplement regimen to see if things get better. If it does, they’ll be well worth the price.

Good supplement
These pills are very small and the dosage suggests 2 per day. I’ve been taking 1 per day and will see over time how they impact my health. So far there has been no side effects, the taste is very mild and has not upset my system. From my reading, the price is a little high, but since only one pill per day, this will last 4 months.

Non essential ingredients are minimal
Really really like the fact that this product does NOT consist of a lot of other ingredients that are unnecessary. Too many of these often have a tremendous list of ingredients listed as “other” that have little or nothing to do with the usefulness of the product. That’s not the case here.The soft gels are small enough and easy to swallow with recommended warm water. I feel they have been effective in the short time I’ve used them though time will tell. As a senior with an enlarged prostate I’m please so far with results.

Straight-foward simple Saw Palmetto
Straight-forward supplement. You get Saw Palmetto and no filler. The value of the cost is decent. They are smooth to swallow, not aftertaste. Regarding effectiveness, time will tell, but I am taking them for a hair supplement so I know patience is key here. The smell and size of the capsule are what you would expect from a singular supplement.

My doctor suggested saw palmetto for urinary frequency issues and libido. I’m betting these will do the trick. It’s unclear whether this being an extract, as opposed to whole plant, is meaningful. It does lend itself to coming in a very small, easy to swallow gel capsule which I appreciate.The packaging comes tightly wrapped in plastic sealed to midway on the cap, and the safety seal underneath is very (VERY!) tightly glued and gave a vacuum-sealed pop upon breaking. That inspired confidence, as did the Colorado Springs manufacturing claims. There are also vague allusions to dosage standardization as set by the “German Commission E monograph” (?) and “SDS” verification of processing. Okay…I’m sure it’s all fine ;).Dosage is an issue for economic reasons, as well. At over $50 a bottle, the suggestion of “up to” two capsules a bottle means it’s a 60 day supply. A ‘serving’ is one capsule, so I’m unsure whether cutting to that daily is still effective. The company’s web site has defaulted to a “Scheduled Maintenance” page for a while now, so I won’t find the answer there. I’ll give this a try over the coming months and decide myself.

One thing I really like about this supplement is the amount of servings in the bottle (120). The directions call for “up to 2 per day” and I always take the lowest effective dose, so I only take 1 which means this is nearly 4 months worth. That’s makes it so I wouldn’t have to order that often.The bottle was well sealed when I got it. The soft gels have a sour fruit smell, but no taste. I haven’t had any ill effects from taking them, only positive effects. I would recommend them!
