Appetite suppression and feeling better
I put my client onto this since his blood sugar was running high and he was already taking random Berberine products. There’s a report that random berberine supplements are impure or laced being one of the most popular herbal supplements for weight loss being touted as the “herbal ozempic”. This product has third party lab testing and it’s not just a baseless statement like many supplements make, it’s viewable to us and verifiable to third party lab so that should be good reason to pick this Berberine over 98% of other products.The addition of cinnamon and ALA are both simple and safe solutions to lower blood sugar also.My client has report that his appetite has reduced and he has more energy after taking this for about 3 weeks. He plans on picking up another bottle of this to keep using it. If he keeps up on this for 3+ months I might be able to update this later with weight loss and bloodwork results too.

Really helps
While I don’t eat sweets, I am an energy drink lover. Sadly this tends to hike up my glucose levels, in comes Berberine. While this isn’t designed to replace anything you may have been prescribed, I’ve found that personally, it helps. I’ve started really watching what I eat as far as sugar, carb and frozen foods. Trying to stay fit and healthy really does get harder as we get older, so it’s good to develop these habits early 🙂

Correct amount in bottle, not sticking together, easy to swallow
As the title suggests, these arrived with the correct number in the bottle. The capsules were not stuck together, as some others have been. They are standard capsule size and easily swallowed. I don’t keep them in my mouth long enough to taste them, so I can’t comment on that.As I don’t own a laboratory, I can’t attest to the accuracy of their content claims. I also cannot tell you if they work at this time. It has not been long enough and frankly, each supplement will impact each person differently, so what works for me, might not work for you. It’s best to approach the use of any new supplement, with an open unbiased mindset.I will report back only if I experience no effect or adverse effects.

1 Star Only Because I Couldn’t Tell if the Bottle Was Tampered With or Improperly Sealed
When I received the bottle, it was shrink-wrapped, but the wrapping was half torn off. This often happens during picking or shipping if something snags the wrap. I didn’t think anything of this (or even think to take a photo), because it was just the external shrink-wrap. I have never ever purchased or tested a supplement that didn’t also have a tamper-evident seal covering the bottle opening under the cap.So I tore the rest of the shrink-wrap off. But then to my surprise, I unscrewed the bottle cap to find no seal: the bottle was wide open underneath the cap (see photo). The side of the bottle reads, “Do not use if tamper-evident packaging is broken” (see photo). But it doesn’t indicate what constitutes that safety seal. A quick online search does indicate that shrink-wrap can be considered acceptable tamper-evident packaging. But (1) the shrink-wrap on my bottle was half torn off and (2) as I indicated, this would be the first supplement I have ever opened that didn’t also have a seal on the bottle opening.Lastly, once I looked in the bottle, the entire interior surface of the bottle and all the capsules inside were covered with spilled product (see photo). Put all these together, and I was just not comfortable testing or using this product.If the shrink-wrap is meant to be the only tamper-evident seal, I strongly recommend that the manufacturer consider adding a safety seal to the top of the bottle. This will add extra assurance that the product has not been tampered with, especially if the shrink-wrap has been partially snagged open during the shipping process. Otherwise, if the bottle should have had a safety seal under the cap, mine did not.

Seems to be a good Berberine supplement
I take Berberine every day and wanted to try out this brand by Prohealth. The bottle came shrink-wrapped and when I opened the cap it did not have the usual seal of other products. The suggested serving size listed was 3 times a day meaning it was a 30-day supply. The capsules were large, but I had no problem swallowing them and had no adverse reactions. There was a smell from the Ceylon Cinnamon used in the Capsules but that was expected since it is used in many products of this type.The lot I received had a best buy date of 04/26.I was glad it was third-party tested, in an FDA-registered GMP facility, and made in the USA. The quality seems very good but the price is higher than most brands even though the ingredient list is about the same. The bottle shows it was manufactured in Carpinteria, CA. They also have a nice website with more information.

I take Berberine daily so It’s hard to notice any differences, but after a week I didn’t notice any stomach or health issues so the seem to be working as well as my normal brand. There is a slight taste to them which is a bit different but it’s not too bad. Will finish this bottle and update if needed. 1 Star off because there was only the outside plastic wrap seal. Would have like to see the inside top seal as well. They are USA manufactured and in a GMP facility, with 3rd party test result shown in the photos.
