Pleasant taste!
I’m so pleasantly surprised! I expected a horrible taste, but NO. It’s mild and pleasantly sweet. I could take it directly from the spoon, but it is very nice in my minty cocoa left over from Christmas. I’m hoping for a gentle immune boost and better brain function. The results will be hard to gage. But if I notice any good benefits I will update. I expect an increase in focus may take a while to discern. It’s not like I can’t play checkers and then I will be. But since this mushroom extract complex is standardized to the content of the beneficial beta-glucans, it seems like a better bang for the buck than say mushroom coffee or cocoa, which sometimes is stranded at the bottom of the cup. I just mixed this in a cup of cocoa. It’s liquid. So there won’t be residue in the cup.

For me, there’s always a level of unknown with a product like this since these kinds of supplements aren’t regulated by the FDA. That being said, I was looking at this product for help with cognitive function and stomach issues. I like that it’s at least USDA organic and claims to be the number one supplement like this. It does have other quality standards like it is made in the USA and is GMO-free. There seems to be a good mix of ingredients, lots of items on the nutritional breakdown. This is a company that makes other supplements and has an Amazon Choice banner, so there should be a level of security in the fact the company seems stable and reputable. I have purchased a few of their other supplements like iron and don’t have any complaints. The supplement seems to work well for the short term, only time will tell for the long term. In my head, there’s a quality control concern for a product like this but it claims to be third-party tested. This product also has a shelf life of a couple of years as per the expiration on the box I received.
