Fun balancing board
It’s a nice quality and perfect for my 2 year old. Just be aware that this one doesn’t have the safe edge for the fingers as stated in the description. However, my toddler had hours of safe fun with this board. She used it for balancing as well as other creative fun ways.

This thing is wonderful
We bought this because my daughter has balence issues. I was hoping it would help. We live above neighbors so I didn’t want to get a flat board that might crash down on the floor and drive them crazy. I also know my daughter was very likely to pinch her fingers under any of the other boards that I saw. I’m so glad we selected this board! She has used it daily since we bought it. It has been a bridge and a cradle and she stands on it while doing her math. For some reason it helps her concentrate. Which is a huge help. It doesn’t crash around and make noise on the floor so we are not driving our neighbors crazy and my daughter is really benefiting from the practice at balancing. Also she would have pinched her fingers if we had gotten a board without the safety edges. Very happy with this.

Great for toddlers
Love that it is multifunctional! We use it to balance as a toy and a stool for when we can’t find our regular one. The kids love it! It keeps them entertained for hours.

Well worth the extra money for the safety edge!
The kids (4 & 7 yrs) love the balance board and are still having fun with it. Most importantly, within 10 minutes of opening the gift, I was so happy that I had opted for the beveled “safety edge”. From across the room, I saw the youngest with his fingers tucked under to hold on, and his sister standing above him rocked the board suddenly and there was no time to rescue his little fingers! We took a breath of relief when he went on giggling and having fun.. I am not receiving any payment for this review. I try to review as much as I can because i am grateful for other’s reviews when I am making a purchase. I couldn’t wait to write this particular review, though. It would have been very painful for those little fingers to get pinched or crushed under that board.I hope this helps…

a little bit of separation between the two pieces of wood
I got this for my 20mo and really wanted to love it. I was excited to have him play with it and so was he when i showed it to him but i decided to return it bc there appeared to be a slight separation of the two pieces of wood that were put together and i didn’t want to take a chance at it breaking or causing splinters while my son used it. what i loved about this was the fact that it would help keep my little one’s fingers safe but now i’ll have to start looking at regular ones that are one piece only. I was really really bummed.

The small one must be tiny, because the larger one is perfect for our gigantic 11 month old and our 2 year olds. If you have a microscopic child, the smaller version may work for you. The baby enjoys it most of all, but that’s because he’s a rebel and a loner, and he doesn’t need nor desire any solid ground at any time. The two year olds are more hesitant about it, but the baby stands and rocks on it constantly. I feel like the older two will grow to enjoy it in 6 months or so.Wood is solid, construction is good. Baby hasn’t mashed any of his appendages (or at least not enough to acknowledge it).
