I’ve been using ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) for a short while before I found this product. The pricing of this ALA is a little nicer on my budget, especially since the capsules are 600mg each, which is the dose my podiatrist suggested I take.ALA is suggested for patients that have symptoms related to nerve pain and damage. I don’t know that it (or anything) will totally eliminate the tingling and/or pain related to this kind of nerve damage, but the claims are that it could help reduce the problems. I haven’t been as consistent in taking ALA as I should, so with this order I plan to take it every night before sleep. After 180 days, I’ll be thrilled if the symptoms subside, or at least don’t get worse.No-one seems to know the cause of this damage, although diabetics are more subject to it than the average person. However, I’m not diabetic or even close, but still here I am. Maybe it’s just old age? Darn.These capsules are easy to take, no problems with that. They are free of Gluten, Wheat, Milk, Lactose, Artificial Flavor & Sweetener, are NON-GMO with no synthetic dyes & No Artificial Colors.Made in a facility following strict GMP guidelines to ensure safety and quality. Made in USA.There is no mention in this listing about third party testing which is important and I’m hoping they will provide that information soon so we know the product is pure without contaminants and contains exactly what is listed on the label in the correct doses.
