This is an awesome set of two gorgeous, super nice quality dumbbells. I love the sleek shiny silver look of them. The base dumbbell (handle and two ends) is a 5-pounder, and it is easy to screw on additional 1.5-pound ends to make an 8-pounder or the last 1-pound ends to make it a 10-pounder. They feel secure when screwed all the way on, so I’m not worried that they would fall off during movement at all.This 3-in-1 dumbbell format is a good space-saver because I just need 2 slots for these on my weight rack, vs. 6 slots that the individual 5, 8, and 10-pound weights would take up! It also means I don’t have to pick up multiple weights for different exercises. I just need to twist on or off the ends as I need more or less weight. Very practical.I like the foam sleeves on the metal handles that feel good to hold. They provide comfort and a good grip, even with sweaty hands. Simple to wipe down clean, too. They are easy enough for me to lift, as a woman. I really love these classy-looking dumbbells and would highly recommend them!

Absolutely LOVE this set!
This comes with an instruction booklet – and it came beautifully boxed in cutout foam to protect it in shipping. One of the first warnings on this was to protect it from direct sunlight, extreme cold, and extreme heat. Okay! The instructions come in several different languages (to include English).As with all weights – keep away from children, pets, and don’t – please don’t! – drop this on your toe or any other body part. It will not be a good feeling. There are a few different exercises listed on the booklet and a little illustration for how to take it apart if you want to.Of course, the biggest bonus of this 10 lb weight is that you can change its weight by removing sections if you want to. The three sections are each: 1.7, 1.65, and 1.1lbs. There is one on each side of the foam handhold, of course. Total weight with all of them on is 10lbs, and the attachments are SO easy to screw on and off. It’s a real pleasure that they’re so easy! The handhold is covered in a soft foam, that will easily wipe clean if need be.Overall this is a fantastic weight, and I LOVE that I can control how much it weighs. I would get this again and again if I needed it. HIGHLY recommend this set!

Super Convenient
I ordered the 10lb set. It comes in a nice package that can also be used for storage. The manufacturer calls this steel with a silver color, but I would actually call it stainless steel. It looks expensive and the foam handle makes it very easy to grip and use.As for the adjustable part of the dumbbell, it is super easy to use. Easy piece is very easy to screw on and off to adjust the weight to exactly how you want. There is one caveat to this though. One time I screwed on a piece too hard, and it was very difficult to unscrew it. Now I am careful that I don’t screw down each piece down too tight.I use this barbell every day for different exercises and because it is so versatile and easy to change the weight, I’m able to leave sitting right next to my desk without taking up a lot of space. It’s the only piece of equipment I need for my upper body workout.

I bought this weight for my daughter when she’s away at college. She didn’t want to bring her whole set of weights, so this was a great alternative. It has multiple sizes, so she can add pieces if she wants a higher weight.The weight is easy to put together and take apart, and is exactly what she needed

Solid adjustable dumbbell
This product consists of one dumbbell , I got the ten pound variant. I personally won’t be adjusting the weight frequently, but it is easy to do, each weight block screws on by threading. The handle is covered with a foam wrap so it won’t hurt the hands like knurled steel will. Great rehab, stretching, and yoga weight and more, it is solid steel and other than some expected slight play due to the threading that secures the weights, it will last a very long while.

Just what I I wanted!
Good quality weight that is easy to adjust. Has removable weights that screw in and off to adjust how heavy you want it to be. The foam handle is comfortable to hold. Great for beginning your strength building. Does not come with any sort of carrying case or holder. Would recommend.

I am a senior woman just getting back into an exercise routine after many years away and wanted to add this to my collection of …. equipment.Super impressed that you can adjust this dumb-bell to different weights just by unscrewing the metal rings on each end! So, I can start small and work my way up!The foam center allows for easy handling.What I don’t care for (and maybe I’M the ‘dumb-bell’) is how the ad/description led me to believe this was a ‘set’ … meaning I’d get two. I guess the ‘set’ relates to all the pieces that make up the ONE ‘bell’.Guess that’s a good way to get people to go back and buy the other one.

These take up less space than my other dumbbells, due to the adjustability of these. Both the plates & handle are made of alloy steel & the handle is covered with foam; no worries about losing your grip. You can adjust this weight to be either 5lbs, 8lbs or 10lbs.
