Helps with my histamine intolerance
Due to a histamine intolerance, I have almost daily inflammation, stomach pain, and migraines. Taking two of these a day has greatly reduced my amount of flare-ups. I’m not big on the taste of ginger or turmeric either, and these don’t have an aftertaste! They smell strongly of turmeric, but it isn’t a big deal when you have them stored away before use.

I was previously taking another turmeric supplement from Freshfield, but this one comes with ginger added. Like the other Freshfield supplement I was taking, this one comes with bioperine for better absorption.I can’t really taste the ginger, except for the occasional burp. It’s not too often, so it’s fine.I take turmeric supplements for pain management due to an old injury. I haven’t had any pain flares, but I also haven’t felt much pain reduction. However, right now, since I’ve been switching from one turmeric supplement to another, I feel like I am at a manageable pain level, with some normal ebbs and flows.Comparing both turmeric Freshfield supplements to one another, they are just about the same price, with the same dosage of turmeric, and with a 2 month’s supply. So, you just have to decide whether you want it with the ginger or not.

I won’t get into the numerous benefits of turmeric, because if you are reading this you are likely already familiar with the superfood. So instead, I will say this product in particular from Freshfield Naturals is superior in many ways. First, it is blended with Ginger to help ease any stomach discomfort, plus it is one of the more potent blends I’ve seen available. It is all natural and without unnecessary fillers or GMOs, etc.I love how affordable it is, but also it is from a brand I trust and so it is still certainly high quality.I have already noticed a difference after taking this, in a number of ways from skin health to less pain in my joints. Overall a wonderful product that I highly recommend.

I am big believer in ancient Ayurveda from India. Though Turmeric is inexpensive Ayurvedic herb, they have been used in day to day Indian cooking as well as home remedies. For example we use Turmeric in almost every Indian recipes. We use turmeric for cold and cough, throat infection, for boosting immunity and for other antiseptic/antibacterial remedies for minor cuts or bruises. My parents take turmeric for joint pain due to its inflammatory properties. Ginger aids is digestion, improves immunity and has anti-inflammatory properties.Though normal Turmeric powder is beneficial and easily available in grocery stores, this formulation contains 500 mg of powder combined with 50 mg of extracts that contains 95% Curcuminoids. This concentrated formulation will work wonders for health. For the benefit of people who do not know much about this spice, Curcuminoids (especially curcumin) are the active ingredients of turmeric and are extracted from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa, a plant in the ginger family which has been used for medicinal purposes for years, mostly in Asian countries.Though it mainly marketed for joint pain support, Turmeric has antiseptic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties properties, and also helps ward off cough and cold and minor throat infection. It is antioxidant and helps detoxify your body. Ginger is also good for reducing inflammation, fighting germs, improves immunity and aids digestion.Though we use Turmeric on daily basis, this supplement helped me in recovery after heavy exercise that I recently started.Overall, this is great combination for Joint Support and overall health.

I received this product from Vine in hopes to alleviate some pain and swelling in my ankle that has been ongoing since February. It’s hard to tell if these capsules are a cure for all because I have been doing extensive treatments (acupuncture, active relief therapy, iceing, etc…), but I do think they’ve helped. I’ve been using them for a week now and both pain and swelling have decreased. One thing that I noticed is that the sticker that came on the bottle did hide some information about the product (it did come off rather easily but for people with poor dexterity it could prove difficult). One other thing that I’ve noticed with other turmeric supplements is a recommendation of not using this for more tha. An “x” amount of weeks without seeking the guidance of your physician.The pill itself is on par for other vitamins and supplements with regards of ease to swallow and I don’t experience any turmeric or ginger burps after.

My wife takes Turmeric for her inflammation from chronic Lyme disease. We are continually trying new supplements to try and deal with the inflammation with natural solutions rather than relying on pharmaceuticals. This product works as well or better than the Turmeric only products, and she thinks there is a synergistic effect of the two compounds as opposed to individually. The claims of higher absorption with the Bioperine might be the reason, or the ginger, but she frankly doesn’t care! as long as it works, and it does! The vegan capsules is a bonus for some (we don’t particularly care), and its a feel good thing to know that the plastic bottle is even being offset by the company. I can’t find any negative things to write, so its a clear 5 out of 5!
