A supplement that can be used as a flavor enhancer
It’s very difficult to review daily supplements. Usually one does not necessarily FEEL the inferred results, but the next time you have blood work done, some issues such as high blood pressure may be significantly improved without you realizing it. But just to take the supplement as directed on a daily basis isn’t magical. It’s not some sort of miracle medicine. Every body is different and we all react differently to things we ingest. I can only speak for myself as I review this product.All of the significant ingredients have been shown to be effective in beneficial ways. That said, there’s really no negative risk to taking this product. It might not be “what the doctor ordered,” but it may help you and your overall wellbeing. One thing in particular that I found attractive about trying it was that it said it MAY give one an energy boost, which I could certainly use. Unfortunately, I cannot report noticing any difference in my lousy energy levels. They’re still super low.As for the other ingredients, I do believe the research, and I do believe they help promote a healthier immune system. Turmeric has been part of my dietary routine for many years. This is a simple way to get your daily dose. I’m not as familiar with berberine, but again I don’t doubt the studies that suggest it is something that’s good for you.But what I like best about these capsules is that they can be opened and the ingredients can be added directly to your food. They all taste great. I especially love making a batch of chili and throwing a few opened capsules in the pot. The cinnamon especially enhances the flavor. Since I taste the cinnamon more than the other ingredients, I’ve been known to sprinkle the contents into other dishes (mainly casseroles and stews) as well. I figure it can’t really hurt anything if the flavor is OK, which it has been.So in a mildly dubious manner, I’m giving this supplement a very high rating. They may not make you feel like a super-hero, but they’re not going to hurt you either. But I do believe the best bonus is that they can be taken as an easy-to-swallow capsule or added to food as a flavor enhancer. That’s pretty unique.

Not what I expected, color is brown not yellow, felt burning in throat even though took as directed
This Berberine, Ceylon Cinnamon & Turmeric supplement by Sirunes contains 100 Gelatin capsules.  Suggested use is 2 capsules daily with a meal, so there are 50 servings if you follow that plan.  Bottle contains an herbal scent, but that is expected since it’s an herbal supplement.  Capsules were easy to swallow without a taste detected.  I cannot possibly say whether or not I’m benefitting from the possible health benefits of this, but I will say that even though I’ve taken with water and meals as suggested, I have experienced a burning sensation in my throat shortly after, and I do not suffer from any Gerd issues normally.The seller’s title says this contains Berberine HCL, but the ingredient says Berberis Aristata, so…There are different plant variations of Berberine and the one in this product is “Berberis Aristata” (Latin) or “Indian Barberry”, which also goes by the name “Tree Turmeric”.  Tree turmeric (Berberis aristate) is a shrub found in India and Nepal.  Research shows Berberis is a deciduous evergreen shrub and woody plant featuring an erect spiny shrub, and bark that appears yellow to brown from the outside, and deep yellow from the inside.  This MAY explain why the color of this supplement is definitely more of a brown and not the typical yellow as Berberine usually is–just my speculation.One thing that bothered me is the label—a presentation issue—it does not look professional at all, rather cheap and very amateur like.  It seems cheaply made and is very wrinkled and creased in many of the areas around the bottle.

When taking this supplement, the craving for sweets disappeared and energy increased. The capsules are a normal size and I have no problems swallowing them.
