My body does well so far
I’ve almost taken a full bottle and I feel like its absorbing well and doesn’t make me sick. Not pregnant but I am breast feeding.

New Pill Form, Great Product
I have been using this product for the past few months and had been purchasing it from the grocery store. It really is my favorite prenatal due to the specific components, percentages, and being plant-based. I had not had such terrible luck with the grocery store version, maybe a gummy capsule or two towards the bottom, but nothing as bad as what was described in previous reviews with pills bursting and all being stuck together and all that. So, I was a little hesitant to order online. But, upon receiving, I was very happy to see that they appear to have changed the formula, as the capsules are no longer dark green, they are now red, and every single capsule was completely dry, with not a single one sticking to the other like the others used to occasionally. So, thanks to the more stable form and the fact that it’s a few dollars less then the store, I will likely continue to order from them.

Best on the market
I’ve always been a fan of the Alive brand so when I found out I was pregnant, I immediately tracked these down. I have compared dozens of labels and these come out on top every time.

Pills are often exploited and a mess
I ordered a bunch of them for my maternity period. Some pills or capsules were exploted leaving the rest sticky and smelling worse than they usually do.

Does it’s job but flavor/smell is gross
As soon as you open to container you can smell it. There’s a gross after taste that will not leave my mouth. I know they are good for you- but honestly if I was pregnant I’d never be able to keep them down

New red ones are disgusting
I have been using Alive prenatals daily for 5+ years because I’ve been pregnant, nursing, or trying to get pregnant that whole time. I believe they work well. My hair and nails improved and all my kids are healthy. I was taking the blue berry-flavored ones up until they stopped making them recently. These red ones are still good based on the ingredients but are DISGUSTING. They smell and taste like actual throw up. Acidic throw up. You can even smell it with bottle closed. The coating wears off quickly so you are left with the taste in your mouth no matter how quickly you swallow it. (The blue ones had a much better coating – kinda plastic-y – and tasted like a hint of berry. Very appealing.) And then when you burp – omg. It was very hard to take these while pregnant and already going through morning sickness. I always did right before I went to bed in order to not experience the burping as much.I dont understand why they stopped making the berry ones?

Plant-based Prenatal
I’m delighted with this plant-based prenatal vitamin, the confidence of the ingredients helps me during my pregnancy. I’m comfortable taking these vitamins daily and have been for over three months. The size of the pills are comparable to other multivitamins and are easy to swallow if you’re personally comfortable with it. I admit I take these before bed/after dinner because if I took them with my breakfast/in the morning, I would “taste them” throughout the day which was not appealing during the first trimester. Regardless I will continue to use these prenatals for my entire pregnancy and time after.
